Overall the place is okay but leaves something to be desired. Im from southern cali so I’ve tasted the best. I feel like to improve they could beef up their menu and offer beans and spanish rice with some of their entrees. They also should have a spice cart and let the salsa run free. The place is cheap but the staff is friendly.

Delicious! Everything on the menu is very affordable — the tacos are like $ 1.10 each and they have a variety of meat options. All of their food is very flavorful and the staff is friendly.

This place is now called Cocina Mexicana. We ordered food from there and were not pleased at all. I ordered the posole, and it was full of bones, and hardly any hominy. My husband was not impressed w/his burrito either, not to mention it made us both sick! The food was way overpriced as well. If I’m paying $ 10 a plate for taqueria style food, I expect it to be good. We will never go back.

Too bad the menudo was going to take long to make. I like the fact that they told me, appoligized, offered me something else, and gave me a free pineapple juice.

The taqueria is very good. Although I will say the Carne Asada can taste a bit on the salty side at times. Other than that I would say the best are the tacos. They also have Orchata! The prices are reasonable and the staff are very warm.

Changed owners due to some INS issues. Menu looks the same but the food is horrible. The chicken tastes boiled, and the asada was full of fat and salted beyond good taste. Id suggest one of the many thriving taco Trucks nearby. This place is now called Cocina Mexicana. They should rename it to El Bano Malo.

This is a fantastic Taqueria! Like others have said, its easy to start craving the food there. My favorites, the $ 1.50-$ 1.75 Taco’s that are loaded with carne asada, carmelized onions, onions, cilantro, etc plus a ton of other cheap, but generous menu items. People there are very friendly and the atmosphere is very easy going/unassuming. It is a little hidden right off Pacific Highway, just keep your eyes peeled and its worth a quick stop. When its time for Taco’s, really doesn’t get much better that El Taco Maestro!

i head over here whenever i’m craving a taco after work. staff is friendly. easy to park. they have a nice selection of mexican food, including menudo and pozole. they even sell my fav mexican candies. but i just get tacos. i love the pork tacos and also get carne asada. and wash down with some horchata! yum yum. this place reminds me that the good mexican food is outside of seattle proper.

Finally had a chance to try this taco place. It was easy to find(for some reason I was looking for a bus but it is an actual restaurant). Staff gets 5 stars for excellent service — no eye rolling or communication breakdown. Got my 3 orders right. The pork tacos were ok but the steak tacos were really good. After I ordered I saw that they had ceviche tacos — will be back to try these along with the tortas and horchata. The tacos were $ 1.10 each! Co-workers gave it a thumbs up.

The best tacos on the Pac hiway strip between Federal Way and Kent. Affordable and genuine. I always get 4 tacos with steak, no ground beef here. The real thing. Extras available like sauces and chopped onions and radishes. The burritos are huge and well made too. Great a quick lunch that’s not fast food but priced the same. Many bottled/canned real cane sugar sodas available as well as beers and a variety of tequilas.

My wife and I stumbled across this place on a whim a couple of months ago. Now, I want to move in. If their food was a drug, I would have the needle constantly loaded, and the surgical tubing constantly tied around my arm. The place is unassuming, located next to a small car lot on Pac Hwy. The people are very freindly and helpful. The food is inexpensive, and delicious! For $ 4 you can get a Torta, in a variety of meats that is not huge, but is actually a very good portion. You can get tacos for $ 1.50 each that are delicious! My wife ordered a Quesadilla, thinking that all quesadillas are created equal, and still raves about the taste of the cheese, and meet. Every year for my bday, my wife takes me out for a nice meal at a nice restaraunt, and the tab is usually over $ 100. This year she is getting off cheap, because there is no other food I would rather have! A-FRICKIN-MAZING
