One of the better exchanges in the state, we came here for some cheap games and ended up getting quite a few. This exchange has been for years of stable in Kent Ohio and everyone who loves games will find something here. We came here for the 50th anniversary Namco games and a few classics. I came here a while ago and got some really great Smallville trading cards. Old school or new school this place got it all. And the service is awesome.

I love this place. I could spend hours in there(and have) and never see all I want to. Only real complaint about this place is it’s pretty small. But they can’t really help that. They’re in a bigger place than they used to be, so that’s a step in the right direction. Staff are generally helpful and knowledgeable. Can call other Exchanges if you can’t find what you’re looking for in that particular location and have it shipped to that store. That’s excellent service in my book. The prices are killer, too. You just can’t go wrong at The Exchange, especially this one!

Decent sized store considering they used to be in a smaller place. Great selection of stuff, new and used, for decent prices. EXCELLENT customer service. Nice people who are always around to help. Quick, with the exception of the holiday season. Across from KSU so expect the college crowd. Parking is a bear, but otherwise good location.

The staff, in true Exchange fashion, is the medley of alternative 20-some year-olds we’ve come to expect from this franchise. They are helpful and knowledgeable. It’s odd to hear these stores playing hip hop because I severely doubt it’s music the staff would have chosen if it were up to them. No matter. The Exchange offers many forms of media(CDs, DVDs, blu ray, vinyl, video games from old and new consoles etc) at discounted(used) and retail(never used) prices. You honestly never know what you’ll find when when you walk into one of these stores as their stock is in a perpetual state of change. One particular reason I love this franchise so much is that all of their stores are linked together in a database that the employees can access through their computers. This means that if they don’t have that obscure game or cd you’ve been looking for, they can see if any of their other stores have it – and they can have it sent to their store for pick up! Granted, there’s a small shipping few of a few dollars attached with this, but who cares about a few bucks? Anything to keep these guys in business! Honestly, this is the only on-site, physical store that keeps me from buying all of my media off of Amazon, and that’s a very lofty accolade in my book. PS– their new location(literally on the opposite side of the street) is much roomier(no doubt to accommodate their formidable awesomeness).
