Tung Yard Work Services

My property manager had contracted with Tung Yard Work for gardening and yard work. I walked the property with him and noted the work that needed to be done and how the landscaping should be pruned.
Tung Yard Work did a good job with the general clean up with the decking and brick nicely tidied up.
When I returned to view the work, I was shocked and dismayed at the condition of the 50+ mature rhododendrons, raspberries, blueberries and currents.
All rhodies had been pruned to the stalks, this not only left them bald but completely wiped out a years worth of bloom. A mature stand of raspberries had been razed, there were none left. Gone. The same thing happened with other mature bushes — they had been hacked off about an inch above the ground. It will take years for them to return. Evergreens, that had been 4 – 5 feet tall had been pruned to the point where they were skeletal and will take even longer to return.
Tung promised to plant some filler plants on the barren raspberry plot but did not return to do it.
I would not recommend Tung.
What was a beautiful, mature and lush garden could only be described as lunar… the damage was indescribable.
