Fun park with sand. My kids love it. Nice place to race RC cars too.

Pros: nice playground area for the kids to play. Cons: no bathroom, saw a cracked out man as we were driving, and in the hood Won’t be coming back

So we decided to come to this park based on our proximity and the Unilocal review. As it turns out, this will probably become one of our go-to parks now, even if we need to make a drive. It’s not super big and the play structure isn’t all that fantastic, but it has a huge sand play area which is really cool. I’m talking beach sand, not the gravel or bark that you find at most playgrounds, but real sand. However, it’s the pump water faucet which flows into the sand that makes this park«whoa daddy, that’s awesome!» Forget Alki, lets make sand castles in Kent! As mentioned in other reviews, it’s a park that was put together in coordination with Disney so there is a bit of a theme to it. There are hidden Mickey Mouse’s to find around the park and other«games» that are set up to try and find hidden objects. There are definitely some teaching and discovery tools set up around the play area. I’m pretty stoked Unilocal discovered this park for us. According to my son, we will definitely be back.

Turnkey is used frequently by kids of the Valli Kee apartments that neighbor the park. There’s definitely a lot of activity on most non-rainy days so if you are looking for a quieter place, look elsewhere. Everytime I go to this park, I see some kid faceplant trying to walk up the steep slopes of the playground. Be careful if you have young ones…

I’ve heard of this park and that it had been renovated by Disney, but never bothered to check it out until yesterday. What a great addition to some nice parks in the Kent area. This park has just one gazebo for parties, a couple tennis courts and a basketball court in the rear of the park, and of course the play area. There is a lot of grass to run around on and spread out a picnic blanket too. But the shining star here is definitely the play area. Now, you should not go here expecting it to look like Disneyland. But you will certainly see some facets that are a little more Disney-inspired, such as a sand«pit» with high quality sand(not the dirt stuff they seem to have in other parks with these features) and a water spigot that turns part of that feature into a tiny pond of sorts — lots of fun for the little ones. And the play gym itself is great and definitely geared to all ages — my two-year-old was able to navigate just fine. This park has won us over for its proximity to our house and the nice play area. I’m sure we will be spending a lot more time here in the future. It’s a lot smaller in size but comparable in quality to the fantastic play area at Lake Meridian, and with less people, so a winner in my book!
