This is a wonderful, newer thrift store that is constantly striving to get better and better. Only four stars, because the pricing is higher than other thrifts in the city. Clean, well organized, friendly staff.

Reasons to shop at Bethany Thrift Shop:
1. Bethany helps put kids in loving homes.
2. Every item in a thrift shop is an American commodity. No money is going to offshore workers or corporations.
3. You get to skip the mall. There is ample parking and no crowd.
4. There is no big corporation profiting here.
5. Goodwill is a for-profit company. Bethany is not. There are no sneaky people hiding behind a guise of charity.
6. They have pretty epic t-shirts for middle-school boys.
7. I like a revolving closet, and Bethany keeps me stocked seasonally and affordably.
8. Did you see the part about putting kids, in loving homes? Yeah, it’s worth mentioning twice.
Purchase. Wear. Donate. Repeat.

Bethany’s is an above-average thrift store associated with the Bethany Christian Services non-profit. They had new furniture and close-out merchandise alongside your typical thrift store finds. There was a cool little vintage area with clothing, accessories, knickknacks, and toys. In addition, there were handmade world goods from Europe, South/Central America, and Asia. Overall prices were a little higher than other thrifts but they do offer a color-tag daily discount. I’ll definitely check back here and there on my vintage hunting excursions.
