I love coming to this farm, it’s a real farm experience, not too commercial. The fruit and vegetable picking is wonderful, especially the strawberries, raspberries and tomatoes. Nice little store with honey, maple syrup and jarred fruit/salsas. The animals are a little sad looking, but the kids love the bouncy pillow and the miniature golf is fun. Prices are reasonable and the farm staff are friendly.

The nicest and easies to get around farm I’ve been to in the Hudson Valley. Friendly staff and great assortment of apples, veggeis: potatoes, beets, peppers, tomatoes(cherry and none), cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant, squash and corn. Berries such as blueberries and raspberries. They also have a small petting zoo, a jumping pillow and mini golf. Plus a nice selection of baked goods. The property is gorgeous and a happy large gnome welcomes you as you enter. Highly recommend for fruit and vegetable needs.

Nice place. Great prices. Golf was $ 3.75 pp and pretty run down. But very nice place. Kids loved it. Excellent produce and great prices!

It’s been three years since my last review and Kelder’s has become a requisite stop on our visits to the area. Now, as our younger one is 5, we spent almost a whole day there with my friend’s family who also have two kids of a school age. We had an amazing time! The only thing that I don’t like but I guess, there is no way around it are the porta potty bathrooms.

$ 22 for a ½ bushel of you pick apples. Not bad per pound price but the orchards are poorly maintained and poorly labeled. The walking paths desperately need a mowing. The weeds/grasses/prickly weeds were about mid-calf high. The apples are good but only a few were labeled so we have no idea what we picked. And you have to prepay. The cider and donuts are yummy. Avoid busy weekends — it is crazy.

We recently discovered Kelder’s Farm and immediately went to visit this absolute Country Gem! Our kids loved picking out Blueberries, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers. There was ton of other greens and veggies to pick out and or simply buy it directly from the front store that this farm has. This place also has few different activities for kids different ages, petting zoo and few slides and a Pillow jump. I absolutely Recommend this place to anyone and different ages!

A friend and I wanted to do an epic U-Pick day to make a lot of good food, so I did some research on the farms in the area. I called just about every U-Pick place within 2 hours of NYC and we settled on Kelder’s because they had the cheapest price per pound and they had tomatoes that were ready the weekend we wanted to go picking. 3 summers later and I’m still coming back! They have a ton of vegetables to pick from and the staff is really great. At $ 1.50/pound, it’s a steal for just-picked veggies. This is the 3rd summer in a row that my pals and I have picked $ 100+ worth of tomatoes and made sauce out of all of them. I’ll be back for many years to come!

They have nice food and temporary tattoos. The girls enjoyed the jumping bean, animals, and mini-golf. It would be great if we could have gotten sandwiches there, too.

Kelder’s was exactly the farm experience I was looking for on a gorgeous summer day and more! What sold me on this place was that it had everything under one roof: animals to feed and pet, big fields of pick-your-own seasonal fruits and vegetables and opening hours that were super flexible. As soon as we entered we were greeted by a crew of friendly farm hands cleaning onion stalks in front of a giant white barn surrounded by fields of farmlands, animals and a giant jumping bubble. The true icing on the cake was the fact that they had a lama named Milkshake, wooden trains and tractors that the kids could climb on and a hay ride. Imagine the excitement of my tractor-obsessed toddler as he was riding on the back of a flat bed filled with hay by a giant tractor and you get the picture of how special the day was. Everyone who worked at the farm was super friendly and easy going. Really a five star situation for adults and kids alike!

This is a fun fun fun family place. The worlds largest garden gnome is only part of the fun. The rest is all a working and learning farm. Its fun for kids and adults.

I was drawn to Kelder’s Farm by the world’s largest garden gnome(!) who stands in front of this beautiful family farm, usually holding a bouquet of the flowers you can pick there. He’s in the Guinness Book Of World Records. This is a pick your own farm, a petting zoo of rescued animals and an EDIBLE miniature golf course — meaning it’s planted with all kinds of edible plants like hops and beans and gooseberries and other things you may have never seen growing in person. There’s also a playground. You can pick corn, raspberries, strawberries, a lot of vegetables and flowers. The barn is classic and the family history of the farm says that this family has been farming this area for something like 100 years. The corn I picked was delicious and so were the raspberries — - they also have recipes and they sell some stuff at the barn if you don’t want to pick it yourself. It’s a beautiful spot with history & character. I nice day out and would make a great site for a birthday party.
