If you need help with an unusual glass situation, as I did, you may want to call Rusty and Kenny at Glass Centers in Kerman, CA(559.217.4226). They undertook a job, grinding down corners of a tempered glass tabletop which was slightly too large; the tabletop measurement was my fault. I had ordered the tabletop glass from another shop, thinking, incorrectly, that my measurements were accurate. I should have used a template as the other shop suggested, or brought the table in for them to measure. Neither they or any other shop I called in the Fresno area would undertake the task of grinding tempered glass, except Glass Centers — Rusty and Kenny. We all knew that grinding tempered glass could shatter at any time(so a Lawrence Livermore retired physicist told me). But I had driven out to their shop in Kerman to have this tabletop fit the table. After Kenny had tried numerous passes at grinding the sides and corners and the anxiety was starting to build, it was over — successfully done. Note: I’d have paid whether successful or nor; but ‘m guessing that Rusty might not have charged if they weren’t successful. IMO Rusty and Kenny have earned well deserved praise for their willingness to do what all the other glass shops told me «no one would do» and for having succeeded in doing it. I have pictures of Rusty and Kenny in their shop with the table and top, but don’t know how to post them. I have no reservations in recommending them. Thank you.
