Used to eat here all the time until I witnessed the cook chop up avocado on a cutting board that he had just chopped up raw chicken on: highly unsanitary; such a shame because I will never eat here again. Food safety isn’t a joke we all have important things to do and don’t need to be knocked out by a preventable food born illness.

I always like to look for authentic Hispanic food. I read the reviews for the chicken burrito and decided to stop by. The burrito was delicious and massive! Easily feeds two people and it came with a side of chips with grilled peppers and onion.

The food is good. The tacos are yummy. I come here with coworkers during lunch. The place is located inside a quicky mini grocery store. It’s nothing fancy but they do have proper seating.
I don’t come here with the kids only because it’s not really a sit down family dinner kind of place. Not that it’s not a good place to eat but it’s not really a very inviting environment.

If you ever need beef come here! Their prepared meat is the best! We always come here to buy our meat for our BBQ’s. Their tacos, nachos, and burritos are also the best! Never had anything else on the menu but I’m sure it’s good as well.

You have to get their nachos. They have great food at very reasonable prices. The nachos are probably 3lbs and only 6.99. Definitely a great place to grab a bite

Our go to when we want good Mexican food in Kerman. Our favorite item is the carne asada torta. They also add chips and jalepenos on the side.

The Tacos are to Die or Kill for. The carne asada there is sooooo good. If you want to come for breakfast or dinner, you better call ahead of time. But never the less, the food is really good. A must if you are hungry and in lil’ Kerman.

La Estrella is setup in Kerman’s old Buckboard Saloon. I was really pissed when I seen what they were doing to the old place with the remodel, but all good things must come to an end. The good news is that they serve some damn good Mexican food. Carne Asada tacos are really good here but for you menudo lovers this is the place to come. The menudo is fresh and amazing for vicious hangovers!!! Order that with the fixings on a Sunday morning coming down, along with an ice cold bottled Coke and you’d be good to go to confession or whatever your heart desires! This place has great owners that take pride in their investment. All there beef is 100% Harris Ranch All American and all good! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

BEST TORTA EVER!
Been in there about a dozen times and I always get the torta asada. Unbelievably good! Comes with a few tortilla chips to scoop up the mess with when you’re done with your sandwich and those chips are great too. It’s so good I tear up a little each time.
This food counter is located inside a Mexican market with one of those great looking meat counters. You order at the food counter and they give you a ticket that you pay for at the grocery checkout.
Get the torta and eat there inside the store (too messy to eat in the car).
