If you’re looking for a hole-​in-​the-​wall restaurant in or near Kerman, this is the place to go. Great Mexican food!

We recently moved back to Kerman and I had been hearing a lot about Maria’s Family Café so we decided to try it. This is definitely a «hole in the wall» type of place but I will have to say after eating homemade Mexican food for half of my life and having a Mexican Mother-​in-​Law that makes the best I’ve ever had… this place runs a close second. The beans & rice are about as authentic as you can get. Looks like they even make their own salsa. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because the tortillas were not home made, but I get it, it’s a lot of work to make homemade tortillas. I will definitely be back!
