The Carolina Field Of Honor is a really nice memorial located inside Triad Park for all 5 branches of the military. Each branch has their own monument that encircle a 57ft tall granite monument with a really nice water feature, it looks like a small version of the Washington Monument. There’s also a memorial wall, a number of different historical flags flying, lots of educational postings and a remembrance walkway that consists of personalized bricks with service men and womens names placed by their families… there is also a section of a steel beam that was recovered from the south tower of the Twin Towers that fell on 9⁄11 to memorialize all the lives lost that day in the towers, the Pentagon and Shanksville PA.
