This is such a great little Italian restaurant in downtown Kernersville. Surprisingly, there is enough parking; there are some spaces directly around the building and a larger lot further down. There is a great small outside seating area with a fire pit by the entrance, very cozy! When you first walk in there is a great ‘neighborhood’ feeling bar to the left. In the main setting there is a long bar facing the kitchen if you prefer something more informal compared to the general dining room seating. We were greeted by our server, Christina, right away. She was very knowledgable and helped us with our drink & entrée choices. They serve amazing rolls with dinner, since we ordered entrees we also got our choice of salad or soup. I got the salad with Italian dressing, which was creamy but excellent. For the entrees we got Charleston chicken and chicken Sinatra. I highly recommend both. For drinks we got an Italian beer and Italian cocktail both were great. Overall, the experience was wonderful! Loved the food, drinks & ambiance. If your looking for a great non-chain Italian restaurant, look no further!

Food tonight was good, not great just good. Service was slow and the waiter was trying to serve too many tables and was just not attentive. Glasses stayed empty, dirty dishes stayed on the table, etc. The Stromboli my husband ordered said on the menu would take extra time which was fine, but obviously my dinner was ready well before they and was a bit cold.

I had lunch here recently and I am very thankful to the co-worker that took me here! I ordered the lasagna and it was very good. I thought the sauce was creamy and tasty. Most of all it is very reasonably priced! The atmosphere is also better than your regular Olive Garden and for little Ktown this is an awesome Italian restaurant!

My husband and I were in the mood for some good Italian cooking. We stumbled across Giadas from the Internet. The meal was very disappointing. We ordered the fresh mozzarella with tomatoes and basil, it was not fresh at all and tasted premade. Next we had our salads, I had a house salad and he had the Caesar. Both seemed like they were quickly thrown together. I ordered fettuccini Alfredo with scallops. It was very bland, yet the scallops(2) were very salty. My husband ordered sea scallops risotto. The portion was too large, risotto was too soupy. The sea scallops were rubbery. The dinner bread that was brought out was good. Our server, Christina was very attentive and gave great service, but the food was not very good. With a name like Giadas Tratorria, I expected authentic Italian food. Olive Garden would’ve been better instead of coming here. I don’t think we will be coming back here again.

Last night my party of six ate in the Sinatra room. It gave us a feeling of privacy without being detached from the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food likewise. My chicken Sinatra was delicious. Can’t wait to visit this restaurant again.

Okay, I have to say it… I love Giada’s. The atmosphere,(except the small bar) the outdoor fire pit, the wait staff… everything has always been great here. But the main reason I love Giada’s; the food! Portions are large and can easily be split.(Usually they offer a free salad to the individual you’re sharing with too.) you just can’t beat Giada’s around here.

Have been to this restaurant three times and thought it would be a great place to take some friends for their first time. On this particular night that was a big mistake. Or waitress was great but the kitchen service was horrible. We waited for our food for an hour and fifteen minutes. The waitress did what she could but the manager never came to the table to explain what was going on although he visited every other table in the restaurant. Would have a hard time recommending the place to friends after that kind of service from the management.

Ask for a table or seat at the bar with Mario to enjoy their Italian food. The lights at the booths are annoying. The burger here has vignette sauce that makes it one of the best. Appetizers are an excellent choice too. The main entrees are large, can share or if very hungry it’s a great pick. Finally, desserts, excellent! Weekends are busy here may have to wait?

Great food, I have attended for mom’s night out, business events and family dinner. The service is always awesome and the food tastes great too. They are really accommodating. This year we are having our Christmas event there and I can’t wait.

I come here a lot for lunch. We always start with the Italian nachos. I just love them! Creamy with spinach and homemade potato chips. I normally stick with the spinach salad. I got the eggplant Parmesan about 2 weeks ago. I really wasn’t a big fan of it. The eggplant wasn’t crispy, it was very soggy. My co-worker ordered the chicken parm. She loved it. They also have pretty good coffee, I always get one to-go!

I have wanted to try this place since I came to this town. So, last night, I finally decided to check it out with my girlfriend. And I enjoyed myself. The service was good. The food was good. It was a good time all around. I can’t until I go back again.

I am definitely a fan of Giada’s. I usually just get takeout from there(lunch when I’m at work), but I have dined in on several occasions and I can’t say I’ve ever had a negative experience. The food is good, and I am especially a fan of their salads. They are big, fresh, and come in an awesome bread bowl! I recently brought my mom there during lunch and she raved about the chicken noodle soup. I have had a couple of their entrees before and I’ve never been let down. Prices are pretty typical for an Italian restaurant, and the restaurant itself is really cute! They have redone an area in an old furniture factory building in Kernersville. I love the way they have renovated it on the inside but were able to keep the historical characteristics of the building intact on the outside. There are several dining rooms and they have a bar area right off the main entrance. They also offer outdoor seating and have a fire pit outside. When dining in, I’ve noticed the service, though friendly, can be a little slow, but whenever I’ve ordered food to go, I’m never kept waiting long. Considering that Kernersville is pretty much full of only fast food restaurants and Starbucks, I sure am glad this place came along!

I went last night. I had the Frutti de Mare! A haven of seafood on a bed of fettuccini based on a rose cream sauce. I fell in love at first bite! Great taste, feasible price.

Heard about these guys at an event at raffaldini vineyards. The pizza there was fantastic and we had to try the restaurant for dinner. Good wine and great food. The steaks are awesome.

I’ve been three times, and each time, the service has been glacial. As someone who helps other people find jobs, up until the past month, their Craigslist ad hiring front of house employees has basically been up continuously from the day they opened. It looks like they have some serious problems retaining employees, which would explain why the service appears to be slow, confused, and discombobulated, in spite of being very friendly. Just a warning to people with dietary restrictions: they have no idea what is in their food. I had to argue with a waiter to please check that a dish didn’t have chicken stock in it; he insisted it didn’t, when he talked to the chef, it did. Waiter was very rude at the thought of me questioning his food knowledge. Similarly, waiters have made other mistakes concerning dietary allergens such as gluten, shellfish, etc. If you have special dietary needs I would strongly avoid eating there– it may not be safe for you! Finally, the food, while somewhat palatable, does not make up for the high price points. The price does not equate to the value of the food, especially considering that given the slow service(up to 2 hours for apps + main meal,) I could literally cook the meal more quickly myself. In conclusion: Pros: — Friendly service — Decent Quality Italian Food — Good location in a cute part of town Cons: — Very slow — New Employees Constantly — No understanding of dietary restrictions — Rude towards patrons with dietary restrictions

Visited here for the first time also at the invitation of friends. Good selections on the menu and the service was good. Had the Spinach Lasagna and the taste was great but it was very runny, like it had a cheese sauce in it. The beef lasagna was the same. The other dishes were very recieved. One missong item was freshly ground cheese for several of the dishes with red sauce. For this level of an Italian restaurant this should be a no brainer. Still we will be back to try other menu items.

I have been to Giadas Trattoria on a few occasions. This time, we had to wait over an hour for a table for five. That obviously means they’re doing something right! Let me just say, the food was well worth the wait. The service was alright, but nothing stellar. I am willing to forgive that considering the amount of tables the young man must have had. They serve you delicious herbed rolls and a whipped butter that is out of this world.(I don’t usually like bread, so that’s saying something.) We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. The calamari was perfectly cooked with very little breading. It comes with a delightful choice of marinara and a sweet thai chili sauce. They are both incredible! I ordered the Seafood Fra Diavlo with penne pasta instead of angel hair, which is just a personal preference. It had a plentiful amount of seafood(scallops, shrimp, mussels, and clams). The sauce was light, and slightly spicy. «Fra Diavlo» means«of the devil,» so it’s meant to be spicy. The entrée comes with soup or a house salad. I chose the salad, which was a good choice after the appetizer and bread. Everyone in my party ordered something different and no one left disappointed. In fact, we were all excited about our leftovers for lunch the next day! I will definitely return to Giadas Trattoria.

I have apparently been driving by this place for years and never knew it was there. We honestly had to circle the whole warehouse area a couple of times before I was all, «THERE it is!» And it actually borders North Main Street in Kernersville on the ground/street level, but the outdoor patio area and the exterior gating effectively hides the entrance from view. There is plenty of parking to the side and rear of the restaurant, and then you walk up concrete steps or rickety wooden handicapped planking to the exterior door, which then leads you to the double doored entry to the restaurant itself. Now that I know where I’m going, it will be no problem. If it’s your first time and you’re meeting people, you may want to give yourself an additional 5 minutes to figure it all out. The interior is really cute with a large hostess/entry way including an alcove with a little fish tank, a bar off to the left as you first walk in, and an expansive seating area facing the open kitchen. We were led to another seating area to the side of the kitchen area, which had several booths and tables with bank seating. The walls are a cheerful yellow, and the whole place is very Tuscany-vibed, but not over the top kitschy. I was here today for lunch with a friend, and we ordered the Italian nachos to start. This appetizer comes in a petite and regular size; my friend(who is a bottomless pit) insisted on the regular serving size despite the warning from our server. It was huge! BUTSOGOSHDARNGOOD I will come here for the rest of my life just for this appetizer!!! No lie. Homemade chips, ground sausage, spinach, peppers, melted cheese… mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmsssss!!! Unfortunately, it was so huge and delicious, we scarfed most of it down and could then only eat about half of the sandwiches we ordered for lunch. I had a chicken panini and my dining companion had the chicken parmesan sandwich. Mine was messy but tasty, and his… well, he thought the chicken was disappointingly bland(like the chicken had been boiled rather than grilled), and he wished he had gone with the meatball sub instead. Overall, this was a very pleasant lunch experience. They offer several wines by the glass, and I enjoyed a Sonoma chardonnay(rather pricey at $ 9.00 a glass, but gosh darn it, I’m worth it… well, once and a while at least). The only thing(other than finding the place) that bugged me was the apparent fly problem. During the entirety of our stay, we were constantly dive bombed by two of the most dedicated and determined houseflies that I have ever been unfortunate enough to meet. One finally landed in our Italian nachos and drowned in the cheese sauce… the other lives to plague the next round of guests. Sorry, fellow diners, we did our best to kill him.
