Since I first walked into the Paperback Exchange almost 12 years ago, I knew that I would be a lifelong customer. Not only did KC help to expand my reading with her fantastic recommendations, but she has also ensured that I will continue to have a love of reading. The store has a huge selection of books, and no matter what I’m in the mood to read, I can always find a treasure here. I tend to lean more towards classics and horror, but the staff selection shelf and KC’s picks have never left me disappointed. If you’re ever feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what to pick up next, or are just new to the reading game, veterans and newbies alike will be given great advice by staff who care. The prices are always reasonable, and there are new releases to chose from at the front of the store. I would highly recommend ditching the larger book stores and supporting a small local business where you’ll always feel welcome!

KC is very knowledgeable of her books. I told her what I was looking for and she walked straight to the shelf and picked it out. No computer required and no searching. Price was reasonable and no shipping costs!

My husband and I are avid readers and have been going to Paperback Exchange for close to fifteen years. The owner, Kc, quickly learned the authors and types of books we like. It’s refreshing to be remembered and appreciated as customers. The savings are substantial and we can actually afford our habit. Highly recommend Paperback Exchange. You’ll arrive a customer and leave a friend.

3.5 stars — Ok selection of used books. But of course, the inventory depends on what gets sold and what the store buys at the time. Books sell for half the listed PUBLISHER’s selling price, so ignore any other prices from when books were previously sold(sometimes cheaper). Parking is a little narrow, but the lot’s never full. My only issue is that the staffer(who was very friendly) that day didnt seem to be very knowledgable about books, nor authors, so she had difficulty helping me find what I was looking for. And I wasn’t looking for anything obscure either!
