This place has so much potential. Modernist space. My wife, who despises Caesar Salad, loved the Grilled Caesar Salad. I really enjoyed the Burrata, which is made in-house. The Akaushi New York Strip, while well prepared, didn’t have a lot of flavor. Has a really good wine list, but no one who can tell you anything about the wines. For the price point, I expect more help than red goes well with steak. Where was the wine guy? Will we return, sure.

Fantastic location on the river with open air dining on top deck! Small, quaint and fantastic views. Service and food were impeccable. Excellent live music added to the fun.

The quail dish with quail eggs was surprisingly delightful. The view and the atmosphere, although not very crowded, was also nice with the view of the river. My only complaint was the shrimp add on for $ 8 that included 4 small to medium shrimp that were over cooked. And beware of a split plate surcharge. Try the mussels for sure!

Took my mom here back in October 2015 for her birthday. I was definitely not expecting such a nice restaurant in Kerrville(not to speak negative about the town but it’s such a quant place). The restaurant seems to be very popular as the inside was pretty much all reserved when we arrived; we asked to sit outside on the patio and the view was amazing! It is right on the Guadalupe River so we sat there watching the beautiful sunset. Our waiter was really friendly and helped us with the menu since we were torn on what to get. I can’t remember exactly what dish I had but my mom and I both had fish. The fish was fresh and such a well balanced dish on flavor and lightness. If we ever go back to Kerrville or Fredericksburg, we will definitely be coming back to this restaurant!

Picked this place randomly from Unilocal and had no idea what to expect, it was VERY nice. Right on the river, another perfect place for date night. We showed up and we were lucky to get a table because most people made reservations. So definitely make a reservation. The food was delicious but the portion size was not big enough for my boyfriend. It was also a bit pricy, especially considering the portion size, but it’s worth visiting for location and taste alone.

The setting, right on the Guadalupe River, is beautiful. Service was slow although there were few customers present on a Thursday night. When the food finally arrived, it was cold; the pasta was gooey; the veal piccata was thick, tough and in a sweet sauce. There is no reason to go to this restaurant.

We went to Bistro 1011 for our Anniversary. There were such mixed reviews on Unilocal,I was afraid to try it out. Someone told me to check Trip Advisor, and the reviews were consistently better. That being said, I’m glad that we tried it out! It was so delicious. The cheese tray appetizer was my favorite! The dinner was cooked perfectly, and also had a lovely presentation. My husband and I were both impressed. We had the Tiramisu and Goat Milk Flan. The desserts were made in the kitchen(not frozen or manufactured). They were soooooo good. I think we could make dates here a regular thing.

What a waste of money. They were out of the specials by 7:45pm and the meal just got worse from there. Service timing was off with dishes coming out at odd times and often tepid. The pork tenderloin was bland and unseasoned. It had not been seared but looked steamed instead. Just a lot of gray meat on the plate. The pepper jelly sauce was poorly executed and could not save the dish. The blackened redfish almost looked like a nondescript pile on the plate. It was served with a boring Uncle Ben’s style of rice pilaf. Not very original. The waiter offered help on the wine choices but could not answer the one question our host had about a Mendocino selection. Being by the river doesn’t compensate for lousy food especially after dark. This could have been so much better. Very overpriced for the food served.

Great view of the river and wonderful background music. We ate outside on the terrace at sunset which was ideal. Lucas our server was terrific and full of tips for tourists. Special appetizer featured local cheeses which were very nice. I had the chicken Marsala with garlic mashed potatoes and it was good. We shared the flan compliments of Lucas after correctly guessing the secret ingredient in their whipped butter and theFume Blanc wine we selected was perfect. After dessert was served, Chef Niki came out and chatted with us about the local cheeses and her culinary background. A really nice lady and so down to earth. Overall a really enjoyable dinner.

Excellent location with a spectacular view of the Guadalupe river. Food was fabulous, my beef tenderloin was wonderful. Cheesecake was to die for! We will definitely go back in the future.

Bistro 1011 hosted our rehearsal dinner. The location is truly stunning. We did cocktails on the upper roof and dinner in the restaurant below. Leading up to the event, the staff was incredibly friendly. They answered emails quickly and generally did everything possible to ensure the night went as seamlessly as it did. The location is gorgeous and obviously, we thought the food and wine was incredible. Could not recommend them enough!

This place has yet to disappoint. My third time here and have never left unhappy. Tonight was the bacon bleu cheese burger. Service is friendly and personable, great appetizers and my food is always cooked to perfection. Every trip I make to Kerrville this place is on my list of stops. A definite recommend.

Great view. Almost everything was perfect. Cappelenni was a little overcooked and the kitchen was a little slow. mozarella was best I’ve ever had. Veal was awesome as was the chicken Marsala. Crème brûlée was amazing.

We dined with a guest because the atmosphere is lovely. That was the best thing I can say. The Maple Spinach Salad was fresh and tasty. The Lamb Chops were ordered medium, they looked great but were raw inside. Our guest ordered fish. It was dry, so she asked for some lemon butter sauce. She took half of her dinner home, I assume to eat later. It was a bit pricey, which I don’t mind if the food is good. Also, this restaurant is not disabled friiendly. Access is via a steep ramp which was OK going in, but our guest had a hard time going back up the ramp when we left.

Best place to eat in this town. Wish I would have found it sooner! Did not enjoy A LOT of the places to eat here in Kerrville. This was one of the three we liked. The chef special was amazing both times, and a real unique special not just an extra page on the menu. Blue cheese linguini with steak, spinach salad with candied pecans, chicken parmesan, all great. Only complaint is on the fish and chips, it was 3 tiny little pieces, I walked away still hungry, but it tasted great!

Take Away: Mostly You Pay For The View– Pricey– but it’s worth it y’all. Also, order the Maple spinach salad. Just DOIT! We stumbled on this place on our last trip to Kerrville and remembered how beautiful it was so we came back for round 2. Apparently the name has been changed to 1011 Bistro. Ok whatevs! Gimme food. Atmosphere– This is one of the MOSTBEAUTIFUL restaurants I’ve ever been to. If not THE most!!! Seriously soooo gorgeous! Although the dining room is fairly small– it’s surrounded by ceiling to floor windows that overlook the Guadalupe river– especially breathtaking at sunset. Note to future husband: if you want to sweep me off my feet. This is the spot. Food– ok we ordered a few things. I had the Cedar-Planked Salmon(sans pilaf or veggies– asparagus instead). I also ordered a Maple Spinach Salad. Mom had this same salad and split the Filet Mignon with dad. They say the steak was cooked perfectly– very tender! The TRUFFLEDMASHEDPOTATOES– uunngh!!! Delish! My salmon was ok but not worth the $ 24– dad tried it and loved it but I prefer my salmon a lil crispier on the outside. Ok whatever, whatever. Y’all listen. All you need is this: the MAPLESPINACHSALAD. The curried pecans– I Die! With Goat Cheese?!? My favorite!!! Un — Freaking — Believeable. And only 8 bucks?! Done. Service– Aiiiight. Young Uns. Spiffied up– sayin«chef this– chef that». Efficient! Side Note: If you come around sunset you might catch the swimmers coming up the Guadalupe! Overall: This experience is about the view. I’ll come back. But when I do I’ll save my money and just have the salad and maybe try a dessert ^,~

I loved this place! Besides the amazing location on the river and the gorgeous views, the food was amazing, and the presentation was stunning. The service was great too, very knowledgeable waiters and the owner came over personally to see how our meal was. The outdoor patio and double decker bar is perfect for watching the sun go down over the water, so in my opinion, it’s the best kept secret in Kerrville! Highly recommend.

Five phrases to describe this place: Overpriced, bland food, weird service, great view, and good wine selection. Overpriced: entrees, other than the burger, start at $ 22. That price is fine if you are getting a good cooked meal, which wasn’t the case. My boyfriend ordered the Prime Rib and I would say half of it was fat. Bland food: we had a crab cake for an appetizer. It said it was Maryland style, but it tasted nothing like that. It was so bland that I wonder if they bought the crab meat from the store. I ordered the lamb chop with polenta. They put something on the lamb chop that was good, but there wasn’t enough of the sauce. The polenta was disgusting. The glazed baby carrot were good(albeit undercooked), but there were only 3 of them. Weird service: the host was the hardest person working there. We came in without reservations and she was able to accommodate us and get us our wine while we waited. Our waitress, on the other hand, was horrible. It took her 5 minutes after we sat down to get us water and she barely came by. She knew her service was subpar that she felt the need to tell us that she hoped her service did not reflect badly on her as she was giving us the check. I was ready to leave no tip because of that, but we tipped anyways. Great view: it’s a spectacular view of the river. Wine: a good selection of red and white. I was kind of disappointed to see no local Texas wines on the menu.

Great food, beautiful view, and very courteous servers. By far the best food I’ve had in town! The pork tenderloin was perfectly seasoned, the sourdough bread was fresh, and the salads were creatively delicious. The whole meal was amazing! This great food comes a hefty bill though so it’s probably a place more for special occasions.
