I don’t even know where to start. I am somewhat new to quilting and was told to go to Creations while I was in town. I’m so glad I did. I spent 2 ½ hours one day with Val who helped me understand how a fabric I liked would look with others and how the styles or types would or wouldn’t work well together. I got a great training session bought fabric and then went back the next day with my husband so Val could help me plan a quilt I wanted to make. Not only did Val spend time with me but Glenda did too! They were patient, honest, and listened to what I wanted to do. Found the perfect pattern, fabric, and design layout for king size quilt. They helped with all the calculations and even labeled the fabric so I wouldn’t have to remember in 3 months what fabric was for each piece. The shop is a treat. Well laid out, lots to choose from, clean, sale items, even candy and water available. This is the first quilt store I’ve been in with great service, clean and organized, lots of choices, and most importantly a staff that takes the time to truly help and not just sell. I did however spend 300.00!!! All well worth it! Sad I can’t spend more time there to go to the training retreats. Thank you!

Wonderful quilt/sewing store! It’s a whole house with a different focus for each room. Beautiful fabrics and lots of ideas and samples. They have wool, batiks, homespun, modern prints, something for everyone’s taste. The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Loved it, plan for some time here!

AMAZING! This quilt store is the cream of the crop. I spoke with Amy on the phone after roaming half of Texas looking for this shop, and she gave me spot-on directions. When I arrived, I was treated like a visiting dignitary! The store is huge – I can’t imagine a quilter not finding everything s/he needs at Creations. The inventory is plentiful and well organized. I shopped nine quilt stores in eight Texas cities this week, and this one was wonderful. The selection of batiks is fantastic. I also picked up a couple of new patterns, and even a rayon batik scarf for myself. I spoke with both Kathy and Julie, the owners, while I was shopping. As if the store itself wasn’t enough, they have a quilter’s retreat center that will sleep 24 rabid quilters. The Texas hospitality and the content of this store made me want to give up the cold of Minnesota and move south. If I visit Texas again, I’m definitely making the trip to Creations. Thanks, ladies, for making my trip so worthwhile!

I am moving to this area and coming from a place with many quilt shops in So Ca. I was worried about only having one shop. No more worries. This shop is THEBEST I’ve ever seen. Organized so beautifully and with a huge selection and inventory. And to top it off the ladies who worked in there were so nice. I am so happy I will be giving them my business. Love love love this place.

This is a great quilt/fabric shop. Lots of nooks & crannies in it and some stuff you don’t see in other shops. Don’t think small town = smaller prices though, you will pay top dollar. But the selection is excellent and the folks are nice. Make sure you have time to browse! One caveat — they do have a shop cat, so if you are allergic you may want to take your favorite allergy med first — my mother has to take Singulair the morning of when she plans to go there…
