It’s a H-E-B, can always find what I need. Good store hours, plenty of parking for the size of the store. The staff is a toss up to be honest. Some are helpful some I find to be rude. It’s a busy store so I go in for what I want and leave.

It is okay but we don’t have a lot of choices here in Kerrville. It is HEB or a convenience store. Personally, I think Fredericksburg HEB is much nicer than this one. But I would prefer a store that carries healthier foods instead of the name brand garbage that HEB carries. Once a month I have to make the trek into San Antonio to shop at Whole Foods to buy the bulk of my groceries. Wish a Whole Foods would open here in the hill country.

We love this store and have been life-long HEB customers. Manager Greg Nichols is one of the nicest most professional gentlemen anyone will ever meet. The store is spotless, and people are always happy and willing to help us find anything. Mr. Butt is a great humanitarian and supporter of Kerrville, where HEB began in business.(The Kerrville City Library is named for the HEB family.) This is how a business should be. A problem we had with the seafood department in the store has been now resolved thanks to a manager named Jason, who addressed our concerns to my satisfaction. The matter is no longer an impediment preventing a 5STAR rating deserved by the highest quality level of grocery stores that can be find anywhere in America. My brother used to brag about his local grocer, a nationwide chain born in his home town of Cincinnati. He spent nearly 2 hours running around the new HEB in College-Station and was totally blown away. He has not mentioned his grocer again but now comes to Texas, we think to visit us, but it may be just to go to HEB and shop. Hard to believe this great store chain begin in a small little place not much bigger than a large shoebox in Kerrville, Texas.

It’s better than the newer H-E-B that is closer to our new home.

Always well-stocked, always easy to shop here, and they have some of the best selection I’ve ever seen. And if they are a bit pricier? I’ll pay it. Anything to stay out of Walmart.

What a supermarket should be: big, clean, fully and intelligently stocked, and well lit, with courteous, attentive staff and a broad selection of basic and specialty goods — and WAY more specialty items than the competition. I see both low– and high-income folks shopping happily here. While prices on gourmet items can be startling sometimes, prices on basics are no worse than WalMart’s, and the careful shopper can do very well here indeed. One of the high points is the ready availability of motorized carts, of which there are plenty, always fully charged and in good repair(I wish I could say this for the competition!). You’d think that any store in a city with so many retired and elderly folk would be conscientious about this, but HEB is far and away the best provider of handicapped parking, access, and mobility aids.

This flagship HEB has the best selection of groceries in Kerrville. Are they more expensive than Wal-mart? Who cares. I’d happily pay more to not shop at Wal-mart.

I absolutely love this store! A great perk for mommy’s at checkout you are given an HEB buck for your children which they put into a fun machine which they push the button to stop a rotating wheel and it gives them a sticker with points they can accumulate in an HEB sticker book and collect prizes! My 3 and 8 year old boys love that and it makes the trip less mundane for them which makes my shopping easier!:) In regards to the products, there are so many unique quality cooking items! Though there are the few higher priced sauces and such, overall the prices are significantly lower-than I expected for such a quality store. And often they will have a buy one get one free. At $ 6.99 per bottle, thats a great deal. I love experimenting with the different types! I also love that they have a little island with two chefs cooking and encouraging you to sample. The counter beneath is lined with recipes! I am such a better cook since shopping there! I always come home after having shopped there and tell my family, «it’s not just a grocery store, it’s an experience.» :) I Love it!
