Papa John’s Pizza

Probably one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. First the person taking my order over the phone told me my coupon wasn’t good because it was for online orders only. Not true! Nowhere on the ad did it say that. He finally agreed to honor the coupon and correctly repeated the order back to me. When I went to pick up the pizza, there were 3 people at the counter but only one who could actually check me out causing my pizza to get cold while waiting for him to take orders on the phone. I got home and my thin and crispy pizza was neither thin or crispy. In fact it was barely cooked. The crust was raw dough. Just terrible! Plus the sauce tastes like catsup! I called and they offered to make me another one if I’d come get it. No thank you! I’m looking for another pizza place in Kerrville

They never disappoint. I can always count on them to make a delicious pizza. The cheese and fresh toppings are so good that I’ve stopped going to all other pizza places in town.
I wouldn’t prefer to dine in as it’s a very blah atmosphere but that’s why it’s close to flat rock.

It has been a while since I ordered from Papa Johns, after my initial experience I was not going back for seconds. Having wine, at a friends house, we ordered pizza, and I will say, it was true to Papa Johns standards. We ordered a second time and it was also great. To the Mgr and owner, consistency is the key. Never should a bad pizza walk out your front door. Keep those pizzas, like the last two I had, and you will have a loyal customer.

I’m not a pizza snob. As long is it is hot and fresh and makes the family happy, I’m happy. This place is pretty quick on the delivery — we are near Veteran’s Loop and 16. Pizzas always show up hot.
I’m writing the review about their hot wings. I’ve only had the buffalo style hot wings and these are the best I’ve had in town. Great sauce. And delivered!
I’d give them 5 stars if their prices were more consistent. Overpriced if you have to pay regular price for what you want. I don’t like having to search through the specials.
