Horrid service But at least the food is mediocre so they have that going for them Tonight it took 30 minutes to get our salads, meanwhile we were getting up and getting our own drinks. During this time 4 servers stood at the bar chatting. They also gave the wrong change in cash to 2 in our party, took a credit card from one customer outside and tried to return it to someone else(opposite gender) and kept a credit card from one of my party, who had to return the following day.

Cincinnati people: Don’t think that this will compare to Cincinnati LaRosa’s. Neither service nor food quality compare. Dayton people: If you need a LaRosa’s fix, wait until you can get to Cincinnati or even King’s Island. The service and food will be better. Tonight: We waited and waited for our server tonight. We decided to refill our own drinks, because she wasn’t coming around. I guess she was making our 30 minute salads. The sight of us refilling our drinks didn’t even give anyone standing around the idea to check on our table. Our food… mind you, this is a pizza place… took an HOUR to arrive. When she messed up 2 calzones, and offered to have them remade, she said it would only take 5 minutes. So, our food was hanging out for 55 minutes? We could tell. Meanwhile, 4 females gathered around the bar chatting and doing their HAIR. Yes, doing their HAIR at the bar. I don’t know if they were having a show and tell, an instructional session, or getting ready for their moonlighting jobs. Whatever. We won’t be back. Also, didn’t refill the paper towels in the bathroom, after being told they were empty. None of the people standing around could have done that? How are the workers washing their hands?

I have ate here many times. Most of the time the service is fast and friendly. I have only had the pizza. The pizza is good but when ordering I always have to make sure I say LIGHTONTHEPIZZASAUCE. Otherwise the sauce is so heavy that it over powers the rest to the pizza.

Not a quiet place, but I like it. –Overall I’d give it a B+ –You won’t be disappointed by the food. –If your adventurous then this is the place for you. –Food doesn’t take long to get to you. –Might have to ask for a couple of things like a refill on water or the check because they can be slow on that sometimes

I remember riding the Giant Log Flume at King’s Island when I was a kid. We’d ride it over and over, enjoying the bump, bump, bump along the canal high up in the tree tops. We’d do this over and over until it was time to get something to eat. Grandpa and Grandma would always take us over to get King’s Island Pizza as we called La Rosa’s Pizza in Rivertown. It was the best pizza ever. Even years later I still think of La Rosa’s Pizza as King’s Island Pizza. I’ve always had fond memories of that thin crust, slightly sweet sauce with the gooey cheese and lots of pepperonis. As soon as I saw the sign, I craved some great pizza and a little nostalgia. I was hardly disappointed. The personal pizza with a side salad combo and a tall beer for a little over $ 13.00 really hit the spot for me. An 8 inch pizza with toasted garlic, Roma tomatoes, mushrooms and red onion, so good. I also got a tall Christian Moerlein beer. It made me think of my friend Charles from years back. He loved it and he was cool enough to give his underage friend some too. Taking my first sip, I remembered that I really don’t like this beer, at all. I drank it because it was free. Good times and bad beer. Oh well, at this rate I won’t drink another till I’m somewhere in my 70’s, but I’ll be back for more pizza before then.

Had our rehearsal dinner there for our wedding. We loved the food and the customer service! Alex was awesome and we would recommend this place to friends!

I ordered this pizza for takeout about 2.4 weeks ago. Three adults ate the pizza and had nothing good to say about it. It was remarkably bland. Perhaps, I received a low-quality pie. Perhaps, people here simply enjoy flavorless food. At this point, I would sooner drive all the way to Costco for a $ 2 slice of pie(and it’s not great…).

This location has definitely improved over the past couple of years — we’ve ordered a couple of time recently, a pick up and a delivery. The pick up order has marinated artichokes on a pizza, which they ran out of. However, we ordered online so had no way of knowing. They called us about 15 minutes later to apologize for running out and to give us $ 5 off the pizza. Nice. The delivery was similar — ordered online with a delivery time of 7:30 — someone called us at around 7:30 to tell us that the driver was just leaving and not to think they had forgotten about us. Pretty solid customer service IMO. Win for LaRosa’s.

I have never had a bad experience at LaRosa’s and neither has any of my family who have been coming here for years. The past few times, this place hasn’t been crowded, but I really wouldn’t want it to be. That only means I get a slower wait and sometimes rushed service. This place serves awesome pizza. It’s not«mediocre». Mediocre would be like Papa John’s or something.(Still a good pizza, but not GREAT.) It’s served hot, with plenty of sauce and toppings, and it’s never burnt or dough-y, or less than just right. This is one of the best pizza places in the entire US. I recommend it to anyone headed to Dayton.
