Love the Thrift Store… I live in Ky., when I come to OHio to visit children, my first stop is the Thrift Store in Kettering.

Rude staff! Don’t go unless you have plenty of time to flip through the racks because they are not organized.

Even though they are adamant about no returns, do not throw away your receipts ever. I discovered that a clerk had not taken off the detector on a pair of sandals I purchased in December and when I went to the store to have it removed they refused to do it since I did not have a receipt. Who wears sandals in December and who would keep receipts from every purchase they made when there are no returns. Now I am stuck with a pair of sandals I cannot wear due to the store’s negligence. The personnel were very rude and arrogant, acting like the problem was my fault instead of theirs. I would give them a one star rating for being so negligent, rude, and uncooperative. They are a good example of «customer no service».

Definitely one of the better thrift stores around here! Everything is very organized but there’s a lot of stuff to look through– come ready to search through aisles and aisles of clothing and home goods. They really have a lot of stuff for a great deal. I found a jean jacket, records and tshirts all 29 cents each!

Found so many great bargains here! I went for baby clothes and some of the items were only nine cents! Found two pairs of baby shoes both under five dollars, barely worn, and name brand Keens and baby Gap! On holidays everything is half off and on Tuesdays everything is 25% off. The prices seriously are amazing! Especially when shopping for baby clothes that are just going to be puked on, messed up, or grown out of in a weeks time! There were dozens of workers all around trying to keep things as organized and tidy as possible, but there were so many people here shopping it got pretty congested and chaotic. Seriously love thus place though!

This is an awesome thrift store and what a thrift store should be. I found clothes as low as 9 cents!

Valley Thrift is an awesome local thrift store that is clean, well organized and has a wide range of offerings, for a very reasonable price. The clothing racks are well organized based upon type and size, which makes for a convenient experience not having to sort through multiple overwhelming racks to just find out of size clothing. Plus, none of the racks are too overcrowded. I have never gotten the impression that they were trying to squeeze in as much as they can into the racks as I’ve seen at other places. I’ve had no complaints with the quality of clothing for sale. I’ve been able to get my hands on two winter jackets(North Face & Columbia) and multiple everyday t-shirts. Valley Thrift has a wide selection of most things, including books, small appliances and kitchenware. Their mens shirt collection is great. If you’re looking for that everyday t-shirt or work out shirt, Valley thrift should certainly be your go to spot. Prices are very reasonable. That same everyday shirt costing $ 2.99 elsewhere is usually running for $.69 or $ 1.29. Most importantly, they have a fitting room and bathroom that is both attendant monitored and clean. Overall, Valley Thrift certainly has my recommendation.

Valley Thrift is exactly what you want from a thrift store, huge selection, clean, well organized, and low prices. They have a ton of shoes and most in very good condition. The furniture selection is a little on the small side but they are constantly getting new things. I have found j crew, gap, Ralph Lauren, banana republic, American apparel, and more. They have a huge selection of housewares, books and other random things. I can always find something good sorting through the junk. I really don’t have a single negative thing to say, this is a thrifters paradise.

This isn’t normally the type of place I would review, but we go here pretty often and have found it to to be a pretty awesome place! This is a thrift store that does it right, everything is clean, well organized, and priced right. There are some other thrift stores in the area that have a larger selection but are not organized at all(one in particular sorts everything by color and then you have to search every item for a certain size, a real pain!), Valley organizes all of their clothing by type and size, workers are constantly putting out new things and making sure the racks are organized a neat. Other than clothing, they have a large selection of small electronics, limited furniture items, toys, etc., we typically go here for the clothing(young kids grow too quickly to spend tons of money on new stuff!). Also, on holidays they are open and everything is 50% off, a warning though, the place is CRAZY on these days! I like to go just before a holiday as they put lots of stuff out and the prices are low enough anyway without having to wait in lines and fight with people for things. So, if you want to save some money and get some great items, check out Valley Thrift Store!

Good thrift store. Has excellent selection of items and is well organized. They have a good selection of small appliances and a massive selection of housewares. Prices are really reasonable. I found a microwave oven for $ 7.50. It had been thoroughly cleaned and works properly. The workers are courteous and efficient. I definitely recommend them for your thrift shopping needs.
