Called to place an order twice. No answer from the business. Just kept ringing for 2 minutes.

Hated this place. Called in my order and was told that it would be ready in 15 minutes, needless to say when I arrived the cashier stated they forgot to place the order… NO thanks not professional at all

This was my first time eating here and I ordered the Z-Kabob special. It was so tender and flavorful! The tandoori bread was some of the best I’ve had. Would highly recommend.

I gave this place another chance. The food was much better than I had last time. I hope this place sticks around bc it’s nice to have some variety in the shopping center. I also like that the restaurant is halal.

So guys, I’ve been here quite a few times and normally its about a 2,5 to 3 on the star scale. However I won’t be returning. I decided to stop in for a veggie platter before an evening class. The veggie platter comes with 3 veggie choices, rice, salad, naan, and raita. I requested to have extra chickpeas for my third side as I only care for the spinach and chickpeas out of the available choices. When the guy behind the counter scooped my food in the to-go tray, he was… lets just say the opposite of generous. Let’s keep this real, rice, chickpeas and spinach are cheap foods, I’m sure they make 300% on these items, so why not give your customers their money’s worth? I paid 7.99 plus tax for a scoop of rice(didn’t even fill a square side compartment), a scoop of spinach, approximately a half cup of iceberg salad mix, and two scoops of chick peas that I had to argue over to get an extra scoop(yeah a single scoop) of in place of my entire third veggie choice. Uhhh… naa? I think not. Not worth the fight. Never again! Back to Food factory in College park I go!

–located in a shopping outlet –normal choices of meats for a kabob eatery –very large portions, so don’t let the price throw you off from ordering. One gyro was good for two people to eat. –the flavor of the beef gyro was out of this world –the place was a bit dirty. A napkins laying on the ground here and there, a few tables needed cleaning while the guy at the counter watched YouTube videos on his phone –did not use the restrooms while I was there, I should have checked them out –you can order take out I would have given them five stars but the place did need a sweeping and general cleaning. I was the only one there as a customer, so it’s not like it was rush hour.

I see previous reviews stating the food here is mediocre but I must say I enjoy both the kabob sandwich(wrap) and kabob burrito because they hit the mark every single time. I also appreciate how friendly the staff is.

I really wanted to like this place. Finally a Kabob stand nearby. However. I have gone 3 times just to make sure the other two times were not off days. Every time I have been disappointed. The food is just not up to par with the price. Everything that I have had has been just off. It was almost tasty but it missed the mark every time. If you were introducing someone to Indian /Pakistani food for the first time this would leave a bad impression on them. and I just wouldn’t recommend it. Not horrible, but not good either.

Gave it 2 visits and both times the food was awful and flavorless. I was disappointed bc I love Indian/PAKISTANI food and this place is a let down.

I was so excited when Z Kabob opened, and I went a few times – I even brought co-workers with me on one trip. On the next trip I noticed a new employee who handled money and food(the bread) and I haven’t returned. I wanted to love this place, but cleanliness is a must!

The lunch special is a good deal… if you call ahead or are willing to wait. I was quoted 10 minutes for my order but it actually took more like 20. For someone with a 30 minute lunch hour, this is prohibitive. My most recent order, the chicken kabob sandwich, was mediocre. The chicken was acceptable, but overall the whole thing was messy and not well-seasoned. Not sure if it was worth the wait.

My 1st impromptu visit was great! The food was excellent. The only bad side about this place is the wait for your food but how can you complain when it’s being made fresh after you order? Lol. They are also very reasonable. Overall it’s a nice low key spot. I shall return…

You can’t find a Kabob establishment like this in the area. If you’re looking for fresh tasty food with a good portion go for the lunch special for only $ 5.00 this is the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is colorful and clean.

The food here was great. I had the lamb and my daughter had the chicken kabob combo. For sides we had the spinach. The spinach and chicken were a little spicy for her taste buds, but she enjoyed the flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb, well seasoned, the raita is a little watery but still a nice compliment to the meat. The naan was nice and warm. What I was impressed by is we got there about 30 minutes before close and the cook made everything fresh and hot.

The food is great but make sure you order ahead because it can take a long time for them to prepare your order.

The lamb gyro was amazing and well worth the money. I warn you that you cannot eat it without a fork! It was huge! The customer service was acceptable. It wasn’t horrible but it was the greatest. The atmosphere is just«blah». It’d be better if they added a TV or played some music in the background. I will return, but not as a dine in customer.

Cashier was too busy talking on his bluetooth, I didnt see him wash his hand after he smoked a cig after he took our order. Lamb kabob was over cooked and tough w tendons… as if it was precooked! Lamb curry also had tendons and was bone in!!! Yogurt sauce was watered down… really how CHEAP. Fountain soda tasted expired… YES there is an expiration date on the syrups.

I hate to have to give it 2 stars but I must say it is a «Meh. I’ve experienced better». I will say that the establishment appeared to be clean, fresh, and very welcoming. Being my first time to this location the cashier was very patient with me while I decided. Overall I got the chicken kabob and gyro meals. I figured you cannot go wrong with either one of those. Typically, I have a rule about going to a restaurant early and especially as he first customer. Overall everything appeared to be fresh, from the vegetable toppings to the garnishing. However, my protein did not seem to have any flavor. The chicken tasted like it was burnt(didn’t appear too bad visually) but it did not have any flavor marinade. The lamb did not taste as if it were seasoned. Maybe if I came later in the day it would have been better. I am happy to see a kabob place in Upper Marlboro as I do love it! I just hope that the selections gets better over time to include Aushak and Pumpkin! MMMMMMM Okay I will give it 3 stars for good portions.

I don’t recall an $ 11 dollar lamb meal being so good. The portion was so big that I had leftovers. This place took over the recently defunct Cluck U so if you’re tryting to find it, that’s where it is. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. I’m only deducting ½ a star because my lamb was cooked well. They didn’t ask me how I wanted it cooked and I forgot to ask. Next time I come I will ask for it to be cooked medium, after which, I’m sure I will up my stars! Another diverse food spot not far away is always a good thing!

Gross sorry. Chick peas where terrible. The rest of the veggies including spinach and salad taste like dish water.
