Husband couldn’t wait to take me to his favorite place to get a root beer float. When we got there, it was super busy, but the staff was friendly & clearly doing the best they could. We ordered a «wee» soft serve come to take back to our pup. The lady was very nice & thoughtful. She put it in a cup for us since it was over 100 degrees outside. She also put more than the standard«wee» serving size & the pup really appreciated it! My float was good & husband really enjoyed his milkshake. My only suggestion is that they take care of the garbage by the two outdoor service windows. The flies were really bad right where folks order & pick up food.

We eat here at least once most sundays. Breakfast is fantastic, the chicken fried steak is the best around. Ice cream and milkshakes are also great.

We visit this little roadside, mom-and-pop restaurant when traveling to Kettle Falls. The restaurant’s unassuming exterior belies the clean, smoke-free interior with comfortable booths and tables(and a clean bathroom). We’re fond of their decent burgers and good root beer floats. In the summer, we enjoy eating outside at one of their picnic tables.

Red neck ambiance at its best! This is a dusty roadside burger, chili-dog, stale french fries kinda joint. But sitting out on the patio chairs when the sun is going down while sipping one of their soft serve root beer floats, or super thick banana malt shakes, is pure heaven. I didn’t even go inside, nor did I try the«real» food. I heard from some locals that it’s not all that good. But the soft serve was fantastic, and the strawberry rhubarb pie was divine. Really. Amazing pie at this hick sorta place.
