Great food and service, happy to have in Kewaskum. Might be a Touch mild tasting for some but perfect for many.

We stopped at the limping coyote late on a Sunday night on our way through town from Mayville. Prior to this Mexican resteraunt opening it was the kewaskum hotel resteraunt. We called from the road to find out hours being 7pm and they closed at 8pm. We were greeted by a friendly waitress upon entry and she was quick with our beverages and was thorough with the house specials for the evening. We were seated next to the bar and no music was playing in the background. The packer game was on several tv screens. I’m guessing staff wanted to keep track of the game. We understand:) I ordered a enchilada dinner and cheese curds for the appetizer. The cheese curds were good and came with a spicy jalapeño dipper sauce. Was a really neat twist on the old stand by. My enchilada dinner was huge. They give you a lot of food for the descent price. The enchiladas were a little heavy on the sauce but the seasonings were on target. I do wish they would have served more lettuce and tomato with it, but overall the good was really good. The décor is typical of a bar but the coyote inside is pretty gnarly. We will eat here again.

Went on a Sunday for ½ appetizers. Service started off very slow, but then improved. Salsa is very good, chips are average– seemed a bit stale. The nachos we ok, and so were the cheese curds. Margarita was tasty and made quickly. Nothing to brag about, but would go back for Mexican in a small town.
