I wasn’t able to try the food, but sat there for at least 20 min and even thou the owner(or someone you was giving the servers orders) was there I didn’t even got to see the menu, or got offered something to drink. Really awful service!

Hidden gem on the key. Always consistent, amazing service + fresh & perfectly prepared meals. I suggest ordering the ceviche Botijero(olive based sauce) and the Lomo saltado– both delicious!!! Their specials are always on point. We got the Ossobucco once and it was probably the best one we had ever had. Always ask for it when we come but they make it only every once in a while. Just tried the chaufa de quinoa w/chicken + steak for the first time and it was delicious as well! Love coming here — always a great experience.

Terrible. Food was awful. Service was just as bad. Ordered steak skewers for appetizer and they were raw. I don’t mean medium rare or rare cooked, I mean raw. Ordered the ceviche sampler and my girlfriend and I were both sick to our stomached before we could have more than 3 fork fulls each. We had to get up and leave before any more food came out. Server was rude and dismissive. Didn’t help at all when asked what he recommended and when we ordered tea that was on the menu yelled at us because they didn’t have any. Stay away from this place. I want a refund of my wasted $ 78 for 3 items! Overcharged!

This place is amazing. The place is modern and the prices moderate. They serve all kinds of authentic Peruvian dishes. That includes, of course, ceviches. They do different ceviches with ALL kinds of seafood, even octopus. I recommend the ceviche botijero.

I am a repeat offender at this place. I have eaten here at least 20 times, and I have yet to find something I didn’t like. Ceviche, causa, ají, papas a la huancaina, filete saltado all excellent. Service is very friendly, owner almost always around. Good prices. I wish they were open later. Looping forward to my next visit.

An excellent place to enjoy an excellent Ceviche! The food is great, the service is great and the location and setting are very nice too! My recommendations would be the Ceviche Botijero or Chupe!

This has to be the best tasting Ceviche I’ve had. The freshness of the fish the best. I tried the chipotle Ceviche it was simply amazing!!!

Ok, first of all I must say the food is very good here, especially the ‘alli de gallina’ and the tiraditos. But, the service is not that good and the waiters take a long time to take an order. Also, they should serve more cancha when asked for them.

Great place. I stoped by chance looking for some fresh, fast and light meal while riding my mororcycle and I’d hit the spot. The place was dead(no customers) at lunch time on a Wednesday, even though it’s located on a great mall; it’s a small restaurant so the service was fine but its hard to judge because we were the only ones in. The food was splendid; we order Ceviche Mixto(it had fish, shrimp and octopus) and everything was cooked in perfection, a very generous portion, great flavor and fair price. I would recomend this place for those lunch were you want refreshment, maybe to go for a beach day to right after before heading back home.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and the food was better than most ceviche restaurants I’ve been to in Miami. While the establishment is small, it is clean, nice, and the service is excellent. There is seating outside, in front and ample parking. I had the ceviche mixto which consists of fish, octopus, shrimp, and squid in lime juice but it was available with two other sauces, Peruvian rocoto or ahi amarillo. It was a well-balanced taste. Nothing seemed too poignant, just right. The squid and octopus were perfect, not rubbery like some places. My mom had the ceviche botijero which was unique because an olive base, lime juice and olive oil dish that was different than anything I’ve had before, highly recommend. We shared a Chaufa aeropuerto fried rice dish that frankly is enough for three people, also very well prepared, perfect. Overall, if you’re in that neck of the woods or simply wanna eat high quality Peruvian ceviche, come here.

The food is AMAZING. I love going there to have the fresh and delicious ceviche, and also the best Aji de Gallina plate that I have ever had! Another favorite dish from here is the Causa de Atún. Yummy !!

Buena comida. Terrible servicio. Ibamos cuatro adultos y un bebe de 15 meses y el listo del camarero puso que éramos grupo de 5 personas para cargarnos 18% de propina. Que pena que se coma tan bien y lo sirvan tan mal. No volveremos.

This place had good, though pricey food, but the unfortunate reality was that the fish they used for the ceviche(at least the day we went) was not very good quality. It was very fatty and not easy to chew. The sauces all tasted great, so it was a real bummer that the actual fish was not good. I tried some of the other Peruvian dishes and they were all pretty tasty. Service was just OK. Would have been a four star place if only they had used better fish. Maybe it was just an off day.

This place did not meet my expectations. It was a total let down in experience for my friends and I. The service was bad, not necessarily the server. Their credit card system was broken so we had to resort to cash. The menu looked appetizing, but there wasn’t much of a variety outside of ceviche. The ceviche served was alright, but it isn’t mind blowing. Flavor wise it’s strong, but too strong for my taste, very very acidic. There’s no balance, which is what I look for in a good ceviche. They do offer a great variety, but this is more of an appetizer place. Additionally, when I went there they ran out of certain menu items. My friend got a chicken sandwich and what they served her was disgusting. It was literally canned chicken. DONOTGETTHESANDWICH. If you do want to come here, I suggest stick with the ceviches. I didn’t really enjoy this place and there’s lots of improvements to be made. I’ve experienced and tasted better ceviches than this place. If this restaurant is going to limit their menu and specialize in ceviche, they need to redo some of their recipes. But that’s just my opinion. I’m going to be generous and give them two stars.

I was really wavering on my rating for this place. The ceviche is really good, possibly excellent. But, there is little here except raw fish which will be the biggest weak point for this restaurant. I don’t know how restaurants with limited focus menus think they will survive on Key Biscayne. You have to appeal to family’s to eat more than once or twice a month. There are maybe two or three salads and one or two other meals other than raw fish. Fortunately the raw fish meals are excellent. The Causa is great. The wines are very nice. The waiters are very helpful. they have outdoor seating. Except for the very limited menu this place is really great.

Had a great lunch! My gal pal had a turkey wrap with chips. I had the causas sampler: shrimp, lobster, crab, and octopus. My plate was lined with four yellow potato squares and each was topped with one of these seafood salads.

I love ceviche. We don’t visit Florida often so we wanted really fresh ceviche and figured in key biscayne we would get something good. Well we loved this place. We had driven by it the night before and it was empty so I figured maybe something must be wrong with it. I’m sure glad I gave it another thought. This was unlike any ceviche I had had before. The owner, Pablo is from Peru and this is apparently very Peruvian style ceviche. My favorite was the causa and I would suggest the causaditas which are smaller versions. This is a ceviche with a bright yellow potato. It’s hard to describe but trust me just get it. The best way to describe it is like a tuna tartare tower with avocado. What Iran us it comes prepared like that kind of in a cylindrical formation that just looks to pretty to eat. We also got the sampler which reminded my wife and I of one of our favorite dishes at sushi samba in Vegas. Sushi samba has a Peruvian influence too. Sushi samba has some tiraditos and the 3 sauces are orange, yellow and whitish and the sampler seemed to have the same marinades or sauces on each of its three dishes. One last thing is that Pablo, the owner is great with kids. We took our 3 all under 9 yrs old and he talked with them and even had a drawing/art contest fit a free dessert. You could tell he loved his restaurant and was passionate about Peru and the food. I’d totally Ho back here!
