Key Biscayne Beach Club

The beach club does not provide catering services as Katie stated. They simply rent out the place and the wedding party is responsible for the entire setup

I came to a wedding here last Saturday. Although the beach setting was very pretty, I noticed a few things that weren’t up to par for having weddings on that property. For example, there were children in bathing suits playing on the swings, feet away from us, right before the ceremony was starting. It was a bit distracting. I also noticed that the speaker for the microphone during the ceremony would come in and out. You couldn’t hear what was being said. And lastly, there was only 1 bar for our wedding party. It took 30 min just to get 1 drink. And the linens for the bar and dining tables were not very fancy. They looked cheap. I think this place has so much more potential for weddings and private parties, if they provided a better quality service for your event.

Originally built as a way of attracting families to move Key Biscayne in the 50’s, the Beach Club is now a meeting space/​gym/​restaurant for «Key Rats». That being said, the people who mainly use the club are the adult children of the local homeowners. The gym is somewhat limited compared to the one at the Community Center and the décor isn’t nearly as fancy as the Grand Bay Club, so it mainly gets used by groups like the Lions Club for their annual Octoberfest party.
