Lisboa Grill

Gonna be really honest here. Service, staff, promptness all good. Followed waitress recommendations and had Bacalahau a Lagareiro. Food was ok but just ok. The fish itself was ok but the sauce was lacking flavor and served with 2 generous size red potatoes, shredded carrots and that was it. I took the fish out of the sauce so I could eat it. Also in any Resturant, a piece of fish should never have bones in it and there were many. A real turn off. This is only allowed when the whole fish is served. Overall a generous 3 stars. Not sure if all restaurants on Biscayne Key automatically add gratuity to their bill and I don’t have a big problem with it. I would just like it to be my decision. Would never have a good waitress suffer because of a bad chef. I really hope that they just having a off night. Reviews I looked were pretty good.

Excellent food! The octopus salad and the arroz con mariscos were both amazing!!! The fish was also very fresh! One of the best restaurants on the island!!! Will definitely come back! People are also very kind!

This was some of the tastiest seafood ever. The grilled octopus was tender and deliciously simple (olive oil and garlic). The bacalao estufado was.. . amazing! So tasty with a potatoes, onions, peppers, and a great/​lite tomato broth.
Moreover, I have to give the staff so much credit for not only working on Christmas, but doing it with the best attitude and attention, despite out having a feisty two year old with us.
This is a must try!

My husband and I have visited Lisboa Grill for the second time during our stay in Miami, Key Biscane. First time we ordered clams for starters and snapper and octopus for entrees. All dishes were well prepared, fresh and very tasty. The suggested Portuguese vinho verde was a good match with our food. During our second visit we ordered only arroz de marisco for two, a dish we ate in Portugal many times before. The ingredients, taste and texture were spot on and the portion could also serve three if accompanied with starters and desserts. On both visits, we were welcomed warmly and were well taken care off by the very attentive staff during both evenings.

Had to go here because of the hype. Busy on weeknights and even busier on weekends. Ordered four entrees and three appetizers… All were very mediocre. Two out of four dishes were cold. We ate them, and all three of us had food poisoning for the next few days, suspecting it was most likely the squid dish which tasted old.
However, biggest scam in key Biscayne. The receipt clearly says «gratuity is not included» but a tip of 20% was added on automatically in ADDITION to our tip. We were charged two times for tips. Will never go here again!

Not quite spanish, not quite Mediterranean. Its a cuisine of many cultures, but the taste is a culinary delight all on its own. I am very fond of bacalhau, as being Brazilian I can tell you I’ve had my fair share in Rio & Sao Paulo. These bolinhos de bacalhau are on a mission of their own to bring you the real taste of Portugal to Miami. I recommend trying it with some lemon juice. Meu Deus!
Whenever I come down to enjoy Key Biscayne I will be stopping by here to enjoy a fantastic meal, and even more so now that they have begun using FiveStars. What a killer rewards program they’ve got going on. Complimentary Vino? All day my friends, all day.

Great little place. Stopped in for lunch. The server was very attentive and the food was fantastic. Great value for the price.

Arrived for dinner around 845pm, 4 of us, the staff were very warm and made us feel right at home, the bacalao (codfish), snapper, and seafood stew were awesome as was my son’s churrasco steak and the desert we shared a delicia which was divine :) great place, great food, excellent service! We will be back!

This little place was such a pleasant find! Key Biscayne is home and sometimes you just don’t want to leave the island to have a nice meal. I love Portuguese food and found this place to be very authentic. The service was five star from the moment we walked in the door. The portions were quite generous and the prices very fair especially given the location and the quality of the food. I would definitely come back! They make a wonderful Delicias for dessert — must try!!!

We had a very late lunch 3:30 Saturday afternoon & was pleasantly surprised that it was open at this hour. The food was excellent & authentic Portuguese. We started w the codfish croquetts filled w/​fish (not bread). I highly recommend Cod Lagareiro & wine selection. The cod de Natas great but must warn it is heavy. Needless to say, I am still stuffed at this writing (10PM). I enjoyed the atmosphere & music as well. Great neighborhood restaurant & plan on returning w my family, enjoy.

My husbands review for evening of 3÷30÷15: We heard the food was amazing so our family of 8 adults desired to have dinner here. When the first six arrived, they were seated. The hostess only handed out five menus. We had to ask for 1 more. Within five minutes the other two people arrived. They were greeted by the hosted and seated after a few minutes. They had to get up from the table and ask for menus. My brother ordered wine and appetizers, they were delivered rather quickly. As we were enjoying everything the waiter (middle age man, dark hair, glasses) came over and had some conversations with the other side of the table and walked away. We continued to enjoy the apps and wine, after fifteenth minutes or so I said to my brother «are they going to take our dinner orders» he said they already have, my entire family had already ordered, but they somehow missed my wife and I. I flagged over the hosted & informed her and she took our order. With in two minutes everyone’s meal was delivered as my wife and I sat there watching everyone else while their food was hot. The waiter walked by never even looking at me, I said excuse me & he then came over. This is the first conversation I’ve had with him, as everyone else was finishing there meal. I said «you never took our order» he said «you never asked» and walked away. Are you kidding me? Who does that? He didn’t say sorry or anything. He literally walked away. This is completely unacceptable and the utmost horrible service ever. Later our food arrives via the hostess, only to discover the fish was not fully cooked. We came for cooked fish not sushi. We sent it back and by that time, were so frustrated, we said forget it, got up and walked out, while my family continued their meal. The hosted did say sorry we missed your order because you came in late. I informed her we were not the couple who came 5 minutes late and that we were indeed the first ones seated. We came in for a family dinner and left without eating, hungry and aggregated. I give this restaurant a bad review for the service we received.

Great place. Food well prepared and delicious and served hot! Nice service. a wonderful addition to Key Biscayne.

I came here for lunch. The service was quick. Overall really good food. The lunch menu is small but the prices are reasonable. The Bife Churrasco was delicious and come with soup or salad (I got the vegetable soup) and either wine or soda (I got the red wine, duh). The soup was tasty and surprisingly hearty. The steak was delicious, perhaps a bit salty. It came with an ample amount of rice and vegetables. The wine was okay for a house wine. I would definitely come back to try more of their menu. After lunch I was so full I couldn’t finish everything, let alone try their desserts.

Very positive experience at this Portuguese newcomer in a quiet Key Biscayne strip mall.
Great starters included spicy grilled sardines, garlicky Portuguese sausage, and first rate Portuguese wine choices, with some great value among Douro selections. Classic stewed cod was a bit salty, but a member of our party had a stellar grilled octopus dish.
One key consideration: make sure you bring someone who speaks Spanish or Portuguese along with you, as English doesn’t appear to be spoken here at all.
That’s a small nit and not an issue for me at all, though. I like Lisboa Grill’s quiet style a lot, and I plan to return for their authentic, modern Portuguese cuisine soon.
