Luna the older woman at the front desk is by far the RUDEST PERSON I’ve ever dealt with. Because of her I’ll take my business and money to where I’ll be treated with a little bit of respect.

Avoid this place. I’m only giving 1 star for it’s location. Management/​customer service is lacking at best. Our cleaning lady physically yelled at me for handing her a dirty towel that had some make-​up on it. Construction noise sucks. Loud at nights on weekends. Way over priced. We paid $ 150 for a room that should be about $ 70. Yeah there’s a «kitchen» (microwave, sink, fridge) in the room but you can’t do a damn thing with it unless you eat frozen TV dinners. These people are sitting on a gold mine of land and they are just sitting there with their feet up on the counter (literally) waiting for their check.

First the negative: it’s probably closing soon, there’s construction noise and sometimes teen all night parties. BUT, if you love the 50’s in the tropics, check this out. Stayed here for a week last summer, and thirty years before. Best location in KB. Construction was sturdier years ago and here is proof. It would be great to live in the cabanas.

Right on the beach, very basic Motel, beach style but clean. Will be replaced soon by a larger Hotel so go while you can.

Want a quiet place on «Paradise» at a reasonable price? Then the Silver Sands is your best option in Miami. We used to have my parents stay at the Ritz when they would come to visit, but after finding the Silver Sands, they decided they actually preferred the rooms directly on the beach to the ones at the Ritz. The rooms really aren’t much to write about, but the proximity to the beach is perfect. If you prefer to be waited on hand and foot, then this isn’t the right place for you, but if you enjoy being self sufficient, then this is one of the best kept secrets in Miami!
