I was having problems with my MacBook Pro which is out of warranty and decided to give this place a shot after reading some reviews from trusty Unilocalers… sooooo glad I did. Chip was extremely helpful and knowledgable and got to the problem almost immediately after I arrived. I didn’t even have to leave my laptop it was fixed on the spot which was awesome cause I use it for work! Also their prices are more than reasonable which is really refreshing in Miami where so many companies are basically trying to see how they can overcharge you. Very happy I found them and will absolutely continue to use them in the future for all my computer issues!

These guys are the best in the business. I have been going to their South Miami location for the past couple of years and I am thrilled to know they opened up shop in Key Biscayne. My family in that area will no longer be relying on me to pick up their equipment to get it fixed at the South Miami Techbar. Thank you TechBar! Keep doing what you are doing.

So I have a 15 month old at home who is starting to have fun throwing things. We were heading to the beach the other day and he was creating a photo op when we were still in the parking lot. I tried to capture it, but he grabbed my iPhone and, well, threw it. Into the pavement. And completely trashed it.
I used my wife’s phone to lookup the hours to the Tech Bar in South Miami (I’d been to them before) and found out they were on the Key too. So I went and checked them out. Just as good as the original. I was in and out in less than an hour with a like-​new phone.
I’ll happily use them again and make sure everyone I know does too. These guys are the best!

I thought my life was over.
My hard drive failed with all of my family photos and I amazingly didn’t have a back up. I thought my wife was going to kill me.
In a panic I called everywhere to see who could help me. Most of the other places I called seems disinterested and their prices were outrageous. Luckily I called TechBar and I found a friendly voice on the other end of the phone. They told me to bring in the computer and they’d take a look at no charge.
I arrived in a cold sweat praying my data wasn’t completely gone. After looking at my computer, I wasn’t given false hope or promises. Other than the promise to try to recover the photos.
I left my computer and was called the next day. They recovered my photos! And the rest of my hard drive. I was out of the doghouse and on the way to pick up my computer with a brand new hard drive and all my data right back where it was a few days prior.
I am so grateful to have found this gem of a business and to have been lucky enough to bring my computer there. I now have a go-​to place for anything tech related and I am sure to tell everyone I know.
Thank you so much for saving my data and possibly my marriage/​life. Obviously I now I have a daily back up of everything, including the phone number to tech bar.

Do not use these guys. I went in for a cracked screen and when I got the computer back it ran super slow all of a sudden. So I brought it back and coincidentally, the hard drive crashed. This computer was in perfect condition until these scam artists got their hands on it and tried to charge me $ 279 to fix it.
I took it out of their lying hands and brought it home and of course, there was NOTHING wrong with it.
These guys are major rip off artists. Do not bring your computers here

Easy peasy! Even though I am relatively tech-​savvy, having TechBar on call is a great option. The customer service is top notch, the techs are knowledgeable and quick and the prices are reasonable. All in all, I’m a fan!
