We have been drinking Baby’s coffee for over 6 years. My mom loves the breakfast blend and usually spends over $ 200 to stock up on it for the year. It’s delicious at home especially in our Ninja coffee maker. It’s NOT weak coffee — it’s perfect. There are different roasts and blends you can get ground up fresh. Other reviews saying«it’s just weak» most likely needed to purchase a stronger blend. I just made my fresh ice coffee with the breakfast blend and it’s delicious. Try it out on your way down to Key West! If you’re a coffee snob you won’t be disappointed.

Totally hooked. Have been ordering breakfast blend by mail for past 8 years after stumbling into the place while on vacation. When I don’t have it my mornings are simply not the same.

I loved this coffee shop. fair warning, I am a crazy cat lady, so the fact that there was a resident coffee house cat hanging out in the front may or may not be swaying my opinion just a bit. the staff was friendly, the café con leche was fabulous, and my boyfriend loved the smoothie and blueberry Danish he had as a light breakfast on our way out of the Keys. it’s funky, and fun, and if you are planning on being in the area and stopping back in they have discounts on coffee if you buy a shirt, mug, or travel cup.

I’m sorry, but I just don’t get it, the coffee is just not that good, very weak. I was told by Unilocal that I hadn’t written enough, but when there’s nothing more to say what can you write. Blah, blah, blah.

Wow, I am just blown away! I was trying to order coffee online to send to my boyfriend who is on deployment. I was unable to enter the FPO address in the online order form so I called for help. The girl who answered the phone was not able to help me so she put the owner Gary on the phone. We worked it out and he personally made sure that the address was received and the package was shipped and then he even e-mailed me to let me know it went out. I truly appreciate his personalized help and will absolutely be ordering again and stopping in next time I am in Key West :)

The store is cool. The staff is friendly and very knowledgable of coffee. On top of all the awesome the coffee is great and they have Chai powder to put in my death by coffee. I died happy.

We have been coming to Baby’s every time we are in Key West. It’s a nice 15 mile bike ride on the Keys bike way, and it’s the stop of choice for coffee both coming and going by car. They have lots of gluten free baked goods too. We love you Baby’s!!!

Baby’s is a MUSTSTOP when traveling to or from Key West. They make wonderful coffee, have a shop full of treats and food(it’s a mini grocery store) and they also have many repair items for cyclists which is pretty freaking awesome!

Made a stop at Baby’s Coffee for their coffee and key lime pie and was not disappointed! Baby’s Coffee is a cool and funky coffee shop/convenience store that roasts their own coffee beans. My husband and I ordered two espressos to-go and purchased several mini frozen key lime pies during our visit. The espresso was great and I would be interested in trying their different coffee blends next time we visit. You can purchase their coffee beans online(free shipping on orders of $ 50+). SIDENOTE: We originally stopped here because I thought Baby’s Coffee made their own key lime pie. The pies in their freezer are actually from the Key West Key Lime Pie Company. Luckily, we were informed that this is some of the best pie on the island and after one bite I have to agree!

Didn’t realized this till today when I looked at receipt. I asked master roaster if I could taste the coffee(a zip) before purchase as I never had baby’s coffee diff coffee taste diff stronger, bitter, acidity, etc. He pointed to the cups so I tried 3 diff blend at most 1⁄3 cup combined of all 3. I understand some people might say hey can I try coffee and get a full cup but dont buy anything. Think they should be more lenient to actual purchasers of coffee. They really need to work on customer service

This coffee is magical… We were visiting friends up the road from here and they told us when they are in town they come here daily to get their coffee fix. It is set up like a convenient store inside, with snacks, prepared breakfast foods such as bagels, croissants, sandwiches, etc. They have beer and wine as well. The location is in the middle of nowhere and who would guess this is some of the best coffee ever! They have different strengths of coffee, flavored coffee and specialty tea’s. I chose the breakfast blend because I don’t care for burnt robust coffee, ewww like the bad boy’s Starbucks, We came here two days in a row and I so enjoyed the coffee. I could not get enough, two large cups to go was beyond perfect. Hubby had gotten some breakfast sandwiches and croissants and he loved them. What a great place to have in the area. They also sell shirts, mugs, all kinds of great items. I look forward to visiting them anytime I am in the area. Service is excellent as well, very friendly staff. Thank you Marisol and Glenn this was the perfect morning fix.

I stopped here for a Cuban Coffee as I was finishing a bike ride. It hit the spot. They’re also very cycler-friendly, and I had three requests to fill my water bottle while I was there. They’ve got some pretty cool stuff, and the wine selection looked good, but it’s hard to carry on a bike ride. Stop in whether or not you’re on a bike, because they’re very accommodating.

We had a hard time finding a good local coffee shop in the Key West area. There was so much focus on Cuban coffee which we don’t particularly care for. We stopped on here on the way out of Key West and enjoyed it. It is sort of unappealing from the outside and slightly rough on the inside. Nevertheless, it is sort of on the outskirts of town, so there isn’t much around. They have a wide selection of items other than coffee. We enjoyed our lattes and the baristas were pleasant. The coffee wasn’t too harsh or too weak, also not overly sweet or overly bitter. Just perfect. I’m glad we stopped by.

What a fun, and oh so needed, discovery en route to Key West! This little coffee shop bills itself as the Southern Most Roaster(isn’t everything in Key West«Southern most»? LOL) in the US. The place was slammed when we stopped by but staff was moving quickly and efficiently. We got some delicious drinks and more than a few pounds of whole bean coffee to go. The shop is quirky with a variety of odds and ends from gifts and the ever present key lime pie. I would absolutely make this a stop when driving through the keys.

It’s important to note right off that while this is a coffee shop, it is not your typical urban coffee paradise with cozy loungers, art on the walls, pour-over flasks, or menus featuring coffee tasting notes. This is the Keys, and when it comes to businesses in the island communities other than Key West proper, an expression of functional non-trendy minimalism is often favored. While Baby’s does a decent pumpkin chai latte and other such mixed coffee and tea creations, I’ve come to prefer the straight-up coffee self-served in the dispensers to the left of the register. Nothing fancy, just solid cups of coffee to be had. Baby’s seems to do enough business as to turn over the java in the self-serve line with relative quickness. This is imperative, because coffee that has been sitting around too long is the typical downfall of coffee shops that serve their regular old black tar joe in this manner. Don’t overlook the packaged coffee cakes sitting by the register. On my last visit to the Keys, I became addicted to these, even purchasing one right before we were going to eat a substantial brunch. Why, there’s even a small but decent beer selection in one of the coolers, with well-regarded labels like Bell’s and Boulevard on offer. Baby’s is the quintessential Keys coffee shop against which all other competitors must be measured.

People drive miles for Baby’s for good reason. The on-premise roasted beans and friendly atmosphere makes for some of the best coffee experience on the Overseas Highway in the lower Florida Keys. There’s a bit of a hippy vibe here, a holdover from the Sixties culture that predominated the Keys for so long, now relegated to more of a subculture with the advent of high rent tourism. The tie dyed shirts and Eye logo enhance the atmosphere. It’s no matter, this roadhouse will satisfy for the best coffee around. I was really taken with how meticulously they prepared the brew, measuring each ingredient in a lined cup. Locals know to stop here for a cold beverage or a great latte. Baby’s is an institution.

I was on a solo vacation down in Key West and my hosts and I stopped here on our way to Big Pine Key for the flea market. We had really only intended to pick up some beverages for ourselves, but I ended up walking away with a Chai Tea Latte and two bags of their freshly ground coffee. It all started with trying to find a «I feel kinda guilty for going away alone» present for my fiancé. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Key West’s tourist trap shops carry shirts in sizes up to XXXXXL, so I was considering picking up one of those. Over the phone I asked if he’d be interested and he said no. I tried to think of something else and came up with personalized paintings or a carved seashell. He said he wouldn’t really like those… Little did I know, he was actually trying to discourage me from spending more money because he was plotting to buy an Xbox One while I was away. But I digress. After going through a lengthy list of all the things available to buy, he told me he didn’t need anything. I decided that instead of forcing a present, I would only bring him back something if it spoke to me and seemed to scream Dalibor. That’s where Baby’s Coffee comes in. My fiancé loves coffee and this is the southernmost coffee producer in the Keys. My friend Andy Z. said they make some of his favorite and he gave me a few flavor suggestions. I went with Hemingway’s Hair of the Dog and the Conch Republic Coffee. They were bagged as whole bean but you can get it ground at the time of purchase. They put each one back into its bag and into separate airtight plastic bags to seal in the freshness and flavor. It managed to keep it contained but was still so strong that my entire suitcase smelled like roasted beans when I came back. I’m not complaining. My man isn’t complaining either. It was the perfect gift! He enjoyed each flavor and was incredibly disappointed when he ran out. Luckily, Baby’s Coffee has a convenient online ordering system, so maybe I’ll buy him some more in the future… after we pay off the Xbox.
