Flying Dutchman Condos

This place is a total dump. Laura Hendrickson has been the property manager for several years. She is never here and it shows. The place is always dirty and the paint is falling off the walls after the HOA paid thousands to fix up the hot tub area last summer.
The halls smell like rotting trash because the property manager Laura Hendrickson is never around to notice the trash hasn’t been taken out. The entrance and parking lots are covered in trash and cigarettes. It is freezing cold in the hallway because emploees leave the doors propped open even in January.
Very noisy with people letting their kids run down the hallway with ski boots on in violation of HOA noise rules. Property manager won’t do anything about it. Not enough parking on weekends and holidays. Manager leaves parking lot covered in snow so only half the spots can be used in winter. The hallways smell like rotting fish and look trashy due to all the lock boxes each owner has installed outside their unit in violation of HOA regs. Spills and other problems are not cleaned up quickly. Avoid this condo complex.

Stayed in the Flying Dutchman Condo’s last week for a ski trip. The condo complex is part of the Keystone ski resort and you can take a bus from the condo’s to the ski resort which is nice. The buildings are nicely maintained on the inside and our rental unit was very nice.
What was unacceptable was the snow removal service. Had 20 inches of snow over the last several days there and the snow plow almost never showed up to clear the parking lots. This made it extremely difficult to get out of the lot — we had to have 3 of us guys push the car. Really not acceptable for the snow plow to take until late in the evening to show up when it snowed all night. This happened two days in a row.
The complex does have a nice heated pool and hot tub area and that was enjoyable.

We are in building 12 of Flying Dutchman and love it. Pool and hot tub right out back. Aspens to the side. Peace and serenity, it’s very quiet here. Huge kitchen with full appliances including coffee maker and toaster. Basically every kitchen tool you need here, down to the muffin pan. Bar seating, dining room, living room with electric fireplace and sleeper sofa. Bedroom with a bed that’s a little too firm for my taste, but very nice quality. Very spacious one bedroom. For the price you can’t beat this place. It’s on shuttle route. First shuttle comes at 813AM and takes you to Mountain house. You can stay there or take another shuttle to river run. Beautiful and close to the slopes. Offers everything I need.
