Over the past several years, I have seen Lynn Allen for acupuncture in the treatment of various issues, from digestion, to knee pain, to the common cold… And I have always found her services to be professional, caring, and beneficial to my whole system. Her calm and caring bedside manner and her attention to detail make her and ideal practitioner to put one’s faith in. I also like that she offers traditional Chinese herbs as an adjunct… Again treating the whole system rather than just bits and pieces. Because she offers services in West Maui and South Maui, it’s easy to get an appointment that’s convenient no matter where my busy schedule takes me!

Who likes needles puncturing their skin? No one, which is why I avoid acupuncture. In the past, puncturing was bad enough but when they twisted it I’m questioning my sanity for paying for such torture and added to injury, positive results where uneventful. However recently my back was broken causing a lot of pain so I decided to try once again the method proven to work for thousands of years without medication. After reading Unilocal reviews I enlisted Lynn and found her reviews to be accurate using little force with needles barely feeling them and surprisingly experiencing immediate results. Listening is an art which she has accomplished. So if you too shy away from Needles twisting causing more pain, give her a chance. She is sensitive, knowledgeable and has a unique expertise with her application technique. And added to all of that she’s a good human being.

Lynn Allen has the most gentle technique with inserting the needles of any acupuncturist I have ever been to. Her treatments are very relaxing and effective.
She is also very knowledgeable about herbal remedies, which have helped me with chronic neck, back and stress issues.

I always leave Lynn Allen’s acupuncture treatments feeling less stress than when I arrived. She uses some really thin and flexible needles because I’m a bit needle phobic — so this is a great option for me. Her treatments have helped relieve my low back and neck pain, chronic sinus infections, «wonky» knees, wrists and other joints — it’s a long list.
