We went here as kind of a last resort because all the places we wanted to eat at are closed Sunday. We picked it based off the great reviews and the fact it’s open Sunday. We were so disappointed. This is not good fish & chips. You want good, fresh fish & chips go to Coconuts or pretty much anywhere except here. We tried the calamari, mahi, onion rings and volcano fries. The fish was cut very thin and not super fresh. They will charge you 50 cents for every sauce instead of including it with the price. I just can’t believe in the rave reviews they are getting, I wouldn’t come back.

My husband and I cannot rave enough about this place! We walked in and the cashier, who was super nice and helpful, started showing us a photo book that has their menu items. He told us to take our time and ask any questions and even explained the difference in the fish. He made sure to let us know if something was extra like specialty fries, let us smell the seasoning for the volcano fries and was just overall amazing! We got the Mahi and Ono with volcano fries. They were so delicious! The fries had so much flavor and just enough kick to them. The fish was perfectly flavored and not too much batter. The price is also a bonus! We will be back for more soon :) Oh and they have a high chair for little ones, that was a plus for us as we had my 11 month old

This place was an instant hit with me. Such welcoming helpful service and the fish is really good. Tasted top quality to me. Reasonably priced too. My partner likes Fish n Chips every now and then but I really prefer grilled fish. Never thought I’d find find a simple fast take-out place that does both. At least not this good. Great, in fact. The coleslaw is really good too. Take to go or plenty of tables on the patio.

Super kleiner und versteckter Laden. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und für Maui-Verhältnisse preiswert! Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett. Ich komme wieder! Lecker Maui Fisch!

A very straightforward menu focused on fried fish filets and french fries with toppings. But actually, against all odds you can get a really beautiful piece of seared ahi here as well — with a simple and delicious spice crust, a rare/raw center, served over a little bed of shredded cabbage. Who knew? I also substituted white rice for the french fries, but that was largely just to stop myself from eating the fries — it would be too embarrassing to break a New Year’s resolution on only the second day of the year.

The best fish’n chips I have tried in the US! Amazing food, super friendly staff, cool ambience, great menu, and great prices! What do u want more? I got two snack size one with basa and the other with mahi, loved both of it. I got the curry fries and cajon fries and liked curry more. Took it out, crossed the street and had my lunch on the grass next to the ocean. I have a small appetite and one is enough for me. It comes in 3 pieces or 2 big. I absolutely loved it and def will go back next time visiting hawaii.

I’m not a fan of seafood, much less mahi but these fish and chips were amazing. You can tell the mahi was fresh, they fried it just right. It was soft but didn’t break apart when trying to pick it up. We also had fries(I believe they were the volcano) and they weren’t as hot as they sound(coming from someone who doesn’t like hot foods). The girl at the register was unbelievably kind and patient, going through every option and suggesting things we might like. The fish and chips take about ten minutes to come out but when they do, you will be amazed at how good they are! There is a bathroom around the corner, just ask at the register and they will give you the key :). Good thing I don’t live in Maui or else I’d be here everyday.

After a week of fine dining and a lot of drinking we were craving an inexpensive meal. After walking up to a closed taqueria we were greeted by an energetic man. He was raving about his fish and chip place. After a brief conversation we decided to give it a try. They have a small selection and great prices. I decided to try the basa and volcano fries. Basa is a salt water catfish that is flaky and very flavorful. The crust was awesome. The fish was cooked to perfection and came with a heaping side of fries. The sauce was good, but I would probably get them with no sauce next time. I wanted to thank Collin for finding us. He was not the owner, just am awesome employee with a love for food. All said for less than $ 20 we got two great fish and chip meals. Give them a try for a good cheap meal.

Food is delicious! Menu is simple, but when you do one thing really well, you don’t need a big menu :-) I would go back.
