Wappingers Falls, NY
his stand is next to Foodland. It is a great spot to get some shave ice. Their syrup is made from local sugar cane. It is very sweet and arguably the best syrup I had in Hawaii. I ordered the Maui Tropical Heaven which includes passion fruit, guava, and mango flavors. It is awesome.

We tried this place for the first time. It was good but too icy. If you like powdery shave ice go down the road to Ululani’s. It’s the best!

We spent a week in south Kihei and ate here enough for a free one. They are definitely the best in Kiehi. We tried various different stands and found them to be the best. A small is HUGE, their flavors are awesome (they make their own), they have little stands to hold your plastic cup, and the cup lets the ice cream in the bottom melt at just the right time. The owners are very kind and we look forward to coming many more times in our future visits!

So this place is awesome! First day on Maui, first place we stopped at and we were greeted warmly and ended up just talking to the owner for an easy 45 min super awesome guy and some bomb shaved ice.

Honestly my favorite shaved ice on the island. My husband and I tried a few and Surfing Monkey was a favorite, hands down. We really enjoyed their wedding cake flavor. The ice-​cream bottom was supper yummy too! We hit the stand after having dinner at Sansei Sushi in the same plaza. It’s a must try!

Best way to beat the Maui heat. We stopped by before going to next door Foodland. We ended up ordering two snow cones — both POG flavor, one with vanilla ice cream on the bottom. You can tell that this is the good stuff here! The sugar in the syrups is all natural and not overly sweet. The ice cream is so creamy too. Love their flavor assortments and the owner was so sweet.

We had dinner nearby and was looking for some dessert. Unilocal led us here and it was a perfect way to end our evening! We ordered two small Maui Tropical Gardens, of course with a scoop of ice cream and the sweet cream on top. The small was definitely enough for two people to share.
It was so refreshing and nice to eat on the warm summer evening. The employees are super friendly! We came right before 7 and were lucky to beat the crowd.

My favorite shaved ice on Maui. And I like both locations – Foodland and a pop up stand along the Wailea ocean front path. Coffee on top of ice-​cream with sweet cream topping is the BOMB

We randomly stopped here when a detour took us through Kihei. I had no idea this place was so famous! It’s hidden in a parking lot near Foodland, but has a nice patio.
But their shave ice is heaven. Not too sweet and awesome favors. I tried Kona coffee and piña colada. I also highly recommend adding a scoop of ice cream. Hope to return again during the trip!

Not sure how this compares to other shaved ice in Hawaii, but we love this stuff! Two of us shared a small, and it was more than enough for both of us. They are definitely generous with the ice! :-)
We got the mango, passion, and flavored one. OMG… So good!
It is located in a grocery shopping Center across from the public beach. Really easy to walk to.

The Kihei Foodland shopping center the security guard James recommended this Shaved ice place. Glad we did. Very Tasty. Nancy was great. Excellent!
