Stopped here on the say to Dallas recently. Sad to report that the BBQ isn’t that great. Between the two of us, we had brisket, ribs, and sausage. The brisket was dry; the ribs were dryish, but fairly flavorful; and the sausage was average at best. The side were good. Service was friendly. It seems like a small volume place, but frankly, I’ve had much better BBQ in many other places in East Texas. I’d eat there again in a pinch, but I certainly wouldn’t seek it out.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Chapel Hill, NC
We found this place on our return from Austin to Chapel Hill. The sliced and chopped beef sandwiches are great. The best side: go to the beans; these are flavorful, savory, and loaded with umami. The potato salad? It’s OK. but the BBQ and the beans are definitely worthwhile. This is close to I-20.
