The girl at the front counter, Raylyn, is rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Went in to get a driver license we went through the paperwork and when we got to the birth certificate she refused me service because it was a copy. I explained to her that nowhere on the TXDPS website does it say an original or certified copy is required. She showed me a brochure which says, under the part about proof of identity, originals were required. I pointed this out to her and she became very sarcastic saying I could go to the state my birth certificate was issued in and get a certified copy. I didn’t want to be in this state in the first place. Contrary to what you all think Texas isn’t some super awesome state. I guess it is true what they say«Don’t mess with Texas. It’s not nice to pick on retards».

Alright, update review time. Personally, I hate going to any government building in general. If you are from California, like myself, you know the lines are ridiculous & by ridiculous I mean that you’ll be there for a few hours. I just loathe paperwork & if you forget any documents ho ho ho. Good luck. Surprisingly, I had a decent experience here. It’s across the street from the Vehicle Registration. Both times I was here, I never waited more than 30 minutes. What a miracle. The girls here are ok. Some are nice & some are questionable. I prefer to avoid any paperwork & humans in general.

I was impressed that I only waited 15 minutes in line when the building was quite packed when I got there. Once I got to the window to renew my registration the process took all of two minutes and was incredibly fast. Got my sticker and was on my way.
