S & L Lawn Mower Repair & Service

I wanted to write this review due to many the experiences that I received today. I have used this repair place many times in the past and never had a problem and i have always been satisfied with their service until today. I took my lawnmower to get repaired almost 2 months ago and I finally received a call to come pick it up. I went to pay for the repair of my lawn mower, as I spoke to the lady it and I simply asked why did it take 2 months to repair my lawn mower? or why didn’t someone call me and let me know it was going to take longer. Oh my Gosh. That woman ripped into me by Yelling at me, and that her excuse was that it was peak season, she cussed me. Threatened me and told me to get off her property. I said when I get my lawn mower I will leave, as I already paid for the services. The man, I guess that was her husband, He asked me why I was being so difficult” and that I did not have a clue to how a business runs. and for me to leave and he was even unaware of what me and his wife were speaking about, but because she was upset he told me to also. I must also mention that they have a child I do not know if it was their son or daughter, but the dad had to restrain him or her, as came outside and tried to confront me angrily. I can honestly say I do not know what happened to make all this occur. I will never return to this business and I highly encourage anyone that plans to get their lawn tools serviced to look somewhere else. I again simply asked why it took so long to get my lawn mower repaired, «That’s all I asked». I have numerous times referred and handed out his business cards to many of my friends, family and work associates to this business. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone. They are unprofessional and unhuman and offer terrible business practices. The last comment from the lady was that. she was sure that the loss of my business and the people I referred to them was no big loss and that I could do little to damage their reputation. I just wanted anyone that viewed this business to see my comment, so that they could make their own decision with doing business with them. I certainly would not recommend it

Good service, Honest fair prices. That is really all to say about this place. The guy really knows his stuff. I have used him for lawn mower and chainsaw repair. Recommend highly.

Steve got my old mower roaring like new. His shop off of Fort Hood St is set back from a larger building so you’re best to look for his sign instead of his store front. …but once you find his shop you’ll know your mower weed whacker or chainsaw is in good hands.
