Once upon a time Mcdees &BK had fat, juicy burgers. Well most burgers you get nowadays look anorexic, sad & depressing. Not to mention small portioned & flimsy. I came here thinking it’s probably the same but since I didn’t want to cook, this would have to do. I’ve never gone to a place quite like this one. You pull into these stalls & you order & pay there. Drive in they call it. You basically never leave your car. They bring out your order to you. Their burgers are pretty good, a bit greasy but that never hurt anyone unless you’re drenching yourself in it. They’re on top with In & Out for me. The service is friendly. Just looking at the menu gave my eyes diabetes. Cheesecake shakes, huge ice cream waffle cones, hot dogs, burgers, TOTS& whatnot. I think it was well worth the experience. I’ll be coming back.

I usually LOVE Sonic… don’t know what’s going on at this one. Pushed the button & waited. No answer. The two cars next to me arrived afterward & were helped. So, I pushed the button again. A lady with a bad attitude came on to take my order. I felt rushed & she interrupted me saying she couldn’t hear me. I repeated the order but no answer. I waited. So… I turned off my car & pushed the button again. Another lady came on, rudely saying there are other customers so I would need to be patient. I asked if maybe the intercom was broken & if I should move… she cut me off… «no, I can hear you just fine. What will you be having?» Really Sonic?! I’m just hungry!

Sonic, how I miss you. Your drive-in, food and drinks I miss the most. The whole experience is exciting, being my first time and all. Now being back home, I would have to take the freeway all the way to Hayward just to see you. I crave your Strawberry Limeade. I must admit even the SuperSonic Double Bacon Cheeseburger and your SuperSonic Double Cheeseburger is pretty damn tasty. Next time, however, that Bacon Cheeseburger Toaster will be mine. Till next time!

Yay for the only Sonic drive-in that finally gets my order right. Granted, I’m extremely picky about what I want in my burger, but they paid attention to every detail! Food was hot & fresh. Cherry limeade. *slurp* Yup, on point. My only quandary is: to tip or not to tip at these joints? Guilt always ensues. tip it is.

Awesome food. Good service. Just don’t go to te one off atan schluter close to lions club. They always mess up orders, don’t listen or let u finish ordering before u get cut off. I’ve always had issues with them. Constantly having to send things back because they don’t listen. Also I have to say they always fix or refund money which is good but I’d rather still go to this sonic here because they get it right the first time.

Do you know how long I’ve been DYING to try Sonic? I mean, San Francisco is sorely lacking in that department, and when I heard that they had three(THREE!) here in Killeen, the first thing I said was that they had to take me there one way or another. So within the first few days of arriving here, I finally got a chance to go there. In all my excitement, I ran out of the house in my pajamas and got into the car. Doesn’t matter anyway, right? It’s a drive-in; it isn’t like they’re going to stare me down for wearing pajamas, anyway. Soooo, off we went! I was so excited — I was bouncing around in my seat and yelling at my friend to drive faster(to which I was given a dirty look for — hee). I know how sad that sounds, but I’d been wanting to try it for years and I’m finally getting a chance to? HELLYEAH, I HAVEANTSINMYPANTS, BUDDY. Ahem. So anyway, we got to the drive-in. I’m sticking my head out the window and staring at the menu. I can’t decide on what I want. After about ten minutes I hear, «WILLYOUHURRYUP?» To which I whine in reply with, «I don’t know what I waaant!» Another ten minutes go by. Finally, I have my order. A Bacon Cheeseburger Toaster sandwich. Medium fries. Oh God, do I want a creamslush? A sonicblast? A milkshake? Commence my frustrated, crumpled face here. Finally though, I ordered a grape creamslush. Ate my burger, ate the fries — and then took a sip. I think I heard angels singing.
