I think this is an excellent intermediate hike or a challenge for beginner hikers. Medium terain a little muddy, wet, rocky, leafy, and moderate uphills. The trails are marked well, however the maps at the parking lots where the entrance to the trails are located do not show a yellow trail marker. The yellow trail markers take you around the pond. Blues trail markers follow the creek and take you up to Ross’s cliffs. It is a very popular local spot, lots of liter near the parking lots, not so much on the trails. Wildlife spottings are possible.

Meandering, rough trail. Roots, leaves, slippery pine needles, dog poo land mines. Dogs are allowed(thus the land mines) Good and steep at places, narrow at times. Follow the blue blazes. There is some history here that makes the trail more interesting. Closed at dark. I did find some kids drinking out here. May be an after dark hang out, just so you are aware. Some interesting rock formations, and a bit of a hairy jump between some rocks at one area early on. If you are just starting out on hiking, this might be a bit of a challenge.
