as we all are aware, there are a Ton of general stores in VT. some of them are great and offer such a cornucopia of fascinating, Must Have items. some of them are down right scary and once you have selected an item gingerly from the shelf and begun to breathe again after the dust settles, you find an item that expired back in 1945. this store is more than most. they have a deli where you can order hot items, sandwiches fresh made and for breakfast they make burritos! this pleases me. scrambled eggies, sausage and cheddar cheese all in a whole wheat wrap. yum.(although the last time i came here i thought david said Sausage and so i ordered the same as him. ugh. he had Salsa. blech. not on eggs please. or at least not on mine.) besides the fresh, better than a donut or yet another bagel breakfast, they also have many aisles of goods. and they actually have signs like at bigger stores to direct you to the proper location.(normally i just wander up and down the rows til something jumps out at me. sometimes quite literally) and they have an attached liquor store. who could ask for more? oh. and their employees are always friendly and efficient. yay! my only complaint is the existence of only 3 stools. today there were some old timers reading their papers and sipping coffee. grr. i wanted to go and stand there being rude, staring and taping my foot with impatience. but then i remembered my new groovy space bubble and that it was still warm so we went and listened to some pearl jam and ate in the car.(giving us the chance to critique all of the other customers as they walked by.)
