Amazing!!! Came here during happy hour. Tapas were buy one get one free. They were delicious. #1 were the brussel sprouts(and I normally don’t even like brussel sprouts). Tied for second was the ceviche and tuna tartare.(and the hog wings). Actually the hog wings with the brussel sprouts pair great. The drinks were equally wonderful. I had the el Diablo with the infused jalapeño honey. So good! Highly recommend his place. Bartender was very helpful and friendly. A must go!!!

Excellent Ahi Tuna — cooked perfectly and the service was friendly and well informed. I also ordered the Brussels sprouts which were to die for(yeah, I know, Brussels sprouts! Can you believe it!). Definitely a must visit when in Killington.

Drinks were great! Staff was amazingly attentive, friendly and sooooo nice! We went last night for drinks and are going back tonight for dinner. It was impossible to get a cab so they were even kind enough to offer us a ride! Can’t wait to go back tonight and try the food.

This place still has great décor and at one time had great ambiance. But the staff have changed and not for the better, the music doesn’t fit the décor and it’s really not the place it used to be. I’m obviously not the only person to notice as it was close to empty. Struggling to find more to say about it. What a pity. Still has nice toilets. Will I go again? Not sure…

Great meal. They start off by bringing you excellent bread with an olive oil/balsamic reduction that was delicious. This is from a non-bread eater. Moscow Mule cocktail was perfect. I had 2 Tapas as my dinner. Scallops with chorizo and corn salsa mixture and Brussels sprouts that didn’t even taste like a vegetable which is a good thing. Hubby had a rigatoni with bologna de sauce. Perfectly cooked and nice sauce. Wait staff was very nice and professional. Didn’t have a chance for dessert but will go back again

We came here for dinner on New Year’s Eve. We made reservations for our party of 7, but the restaurant was not packed. They had New Year’s head-wear for the guests, which was pretty cool. We had fun trying on different things. I was a little skeptical of this place at first because it was right by a gas station, but don’t let that deter you from coming here! On the Rocs is actually really classy with nice décor. Food was delicious and the price wasn’t too expensive! For starters, we shared the Crispy Fried Brussels Sprouts and Duck Poutine. I had the Lobster Linguine, which was heavenly! The linguine was made with squid ink so it is black. There was plentiful lobster meat, but it was mostly claw meat. I also tried the Baby Back Ribs and Grilled Steak Frites. Really good! Try the truffle mayo! All dishes are a pretty big portion. Food and service too a little long. Not sure if that’s normal or because it was just NYE.

We were very happy to see the menu mix. They open at 3pm and we arrived about 5:30 on a Monday. Only a few people were at the bar and 1 table occupied in the dining room. The waitress told us about a special on the Moscow Mule drink. If you sit at the bar, they serve it in a copper mug. Because we were at table, the bartender refuses to serve it that way. Apparently the bartenders do not care about the diners and management doesn’t have control of the service. We ordered tapas and entrees. The music suddenly stopped in the dining room. By this time, there were now 3 other tables besides ours. Without music, all conversations were easily heard. It became an awkward dining experience hearing every word of every patron. The waitress said the bartender had to fix the music and she would ask him to do so. The tapas came and they were fine but it took an long time to prepare small pieces of beef. We asked again that the music be turned back on. After a long time the waitress came by to notify us that the Fish of the Day was already sold out and that the Fish Tacos could be made with a non-white fish. We switched to a cob salad. I asked the bartender personally to turn back on the music. He said absolutely and of course never did turn it on. My Carbonara sauce was ok but the bacon was burnt and flavorless. All and all, it was a series of missed opportunities to provide service and product. Don’t Go. If it was cheap, it still would not be worth the money.

Ground rules going in: Killington mountain restaurants have the advantage of a steady stream of hungry visitors, no matter the performance. The captive audience will pay higher prices for mediocre food. If you are stuck on the mountain, this is one of the better stops but there are better choices off the mountain. Grades for our dinner choices: Burrata caprese salad: A+, classic preparation Mussel app: B-, 1⁄3 of shells were empty(?) Crispy brussels sprouts: B, tasty salty nibbles, oily towards the bottom Ahi tuna entrée: D, fishy flavor with weird smoky citrus maple undertones. Cocktails were well prepared and enjoyable but not as revolutionary is as others have made them sound(isn’t the Moscow mule is everywhere?). The menu has fun histories of each.

My wife and I by far found this to be the most noteworthy meal we had in killington. The homemade ginger beer in the Moscow mule was the BEST I have ever had. The whole meal was exceptional. A+++

This place was fantastic. We never would have known it was a restaurant, since it’s listed as a «bar/lounge» on Unilocal. We went to the Phat Italian(downstairs) for gas, looked at a menu for upstairs, and immediately planned to try this place. First of all, the ambiance cannot be beat. Cozy, upscale, beautiful, romantic. We were seated at a table for two right in front of the fireplace in their dining area seperate from the bar. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We liked him right away. We started with their house foccacia bread and olive oil. This was mind blowing; the bread was homemade, fresh, and warm. The olive oil dipping mixture, however, stole the show. It was very fresh and high-end, with a distinct taste, and was served with REAL balsamic reduction that had the most lovely sweet taste and complimented the full-bodied, olivey oil. We destroyed the entire loaf. For appetizers, I had the crispy fried brussels sprouts. They did NOT disappoint! they were tossed in a delicious asian-style soy and garlic sauce; it was such a big serving that I couldn’t finish them! The S.O. had the caprese salad. The mozz was homemade, the tomatoes were fresh, and it had the same delicious balsamic reduction on the plate. YUM. For my entrée, I had a difficult time deciding between the braised short ribs and the steak frites. I ended up going with the frities, which were delicious. Perfectly cookied, and served with handcut fries and delicious truffle mayo for dipping. My date had an amazing lobster pasta dish that was on special. The sauce was MINDBLOWING. We shared a cardamom and orange crème brûlée for dessert, and the drinks were phenomenal. In fact, they are inspired by various modern speakeasies throughout the country, so they were very creative. The only issue we had was a VERY large party of VERY loud people were seated in the dining room behind us, and they were absolutely OBNOXIOUS. It wouldn’t have bothered me so much if they weren’t loudly talking about us and«ruining our date»(which they kinda did, actually). Their only saving grace is that they bought us each a drink. Personally, they should’ve bought us several, because they left me with a headache and a bad taste in my mouth. I know it’s not the restaurants fault for taking large reservations, but someone could have asked them to keep it down. They ruined the ambience of the entire place.

For a place in Killington, 5 stars. Nyc a 3.5. This is the only place in Killington with good, creative cocktails. They hire a NYC consultant for a new cocktail ideas, and their food is pretty good. People on Unilocal raved about the Brussels sprouts. They were good, but a little over seasoned. The steak was pretty good, cooked correctly and had a great fry side. Ribs were mediocre and could have been frozen, they weren’t special The desserts were great, weren’t overly dense and sweet! Let’s be real, skiing and fine dining don’t go hand in hand, but this was a pleasant surprise because they try, and it’s good food! Everything else in the area is hit or miss, but i will definitely return here!

Although this place has«Lounge» in the name, it is definitely a restaurant. We had dinner here last night and were quite happy with the whole experience. The food was good, the location was convenient for the Killington area and the service was friendly. A huge plus for this restaurant is that it is open late. By the time we were ready to eat a bit after 10, most places we tried in the area were done serving for the night. This place was still open and we were not rushed at all.

I’m a fan! On the Rocs is the best(only) place of its kind in Killington — a more upscale hip dining place with a gastropubby feel. The appetizers are HUMONGOUS — I have never seen such big apps in my life. They’re basically entrees Brussels Sprouts appetizer — absolutely delicious Fried Calamari with Arrabbiata sauce — ok Steak special — ok New England Lobster Roll — Yummmmm Bottle of Malbec wine — YUM Total: $ 94.75 We changed our minds a billion times about what to order and our server(Steph) was very helpful and patient even though I would have wanted to kill us. Thanks Steph!

I’m conflicted. My NYC palate would give this place 3 stars for sure, but it is Killington so let’s go with 3.5, but not round up because I’m being realistic. The décor and ambiance is certainly classier than say, The Pickle Barrel — so this is a great alternative if you want to have some wine and relax after a day on the mountain but don’t want to be surrounded by 21 year olds, loud music and cheesy lighting. We came here on Saturday evening for my birthday dinner. We called ahead and reserved a space for twelve people and they did a great job accommodating us! My friend and I decided to split some food on our end of the table and we went with the brussels sprouts, fried calamari and the fish tacos. I really liked the calamari — was quite good. The brussels sprouts were tasty, but they were a little bit drown in whatever sauce they use for my taste and I’ve certainly have had better. The fish tacos were NOTGOODATALL. I am a fish taco snob and these were totally fishy and lacked any sort of flavor, so I would not recommend ordering them. Their wine list was sub-par and honestly, who would pay $ 32 for a bottle of Bogle? You can get that for $ 10 at the store. Service was good and our waitress was chipper. They split our checks up at the end, so that was nice. Overall the restaurant is really nice aesthetically speaking, but I think their wine list needs some improvement and obviously their fish tacos. because those were NOT baja, my friends!
