Anyone seeing Dr. Ukatu please read this! I WASDISFIGUREDBYTHISDOCTOR&ALMOSTDIEDONTHETABLE&HEDIDNOTEVENCARE!!! I had a breast reduction gone wrong. I almost died on the table for loss of blood, I was in ICU for 12 days, in the hospital 27 days, sent home with no pain medication or care. He almost killed me with loss of blood, but the real damage was first my hands, I had 3 follow up appointments with him in which I continually advise him my hands are screaming in AGONY. I could barely stand, I had pain in my legs, I collapsed on many occasions & begged him to help me or refer me, I was in the emergency room sometimes twice a week, On our last visit to remove sutures I was so weak & in so much pain & I explained I went to urgent care for a serious infection and I’m in pain, he told me he can’t do nothing for me to try to figure it out on my own. 3 months later &MANYER visits to the point the ER doctors would just tell the nurse to give me the usual. I finally found a neurosurgeon that told me that I had a pinched nerve in the c4& c5, my neck area. That’s why I was in so much pain. I had another surgery to unpinch the nerve, so we did it & he said the nerve was badly damaged & whatever I have in a year is all I’ll have. I had been in a lathargic state for months turns out the 4 hour out patient surgery tuned to 10 hour life saving left me with severe nerve damage. To top it off, I finally really looked at my breast and was in SHOCK, HORROR, DISBELIEF, SICK. I had scars ½ inch thick & please excuse my direct words but tv there’s no way to say this lightly or gently. My nipples were 3 inches above normal breast, 1 areola was cut up to the nipple point so it’s half an areola. When I asked him why, what happened??? I cried at this, he said oh well you were suppose to massage them after surgery so they would fall into place!!! I said I was a bit busy in ICU& don’t remember much of the hospital stay except pain. Why didn’t he direct someone to do it, especially considering my hands were severely compromised? He didn’t find a need to answer & I knew that it’s because it was a lie that I later verified. I must admit, my surgery was 3÷16÷2010, but to this date I have not recovered. I’m so sick in pain constantly & my breast, I cant find a bra to fit the deformity, I cant wear A LOT of blouses & dresses because even for the normal woman who likes modest clothing they are still to low for me. Scars ar still ½ thick, never thined out into a thin line or disappear. Other doctors are shocked when they see my breast & hear what happened. I can’t walk well, I use a cane & only my right hand has gotten to the point I can write, use a phone. PLEASEBECAREFULIFYOUCHOOSETOGAMBLEWITHTHISDOCTOR.
