Breyer’s Roofing

I’m happy with the repairs made to my gutter, but I feel I was charged at the high end. Next time I’ll call around more before using breyer’s roofing.

In April 2014 we had a tree fall on our home, when the insurance adjuster came out to access the damage he brought Dwaine Breyer. Dwaine assured us he could complete the repair with no problem and make us feel confident in his ability to complete the job. Dwaine came out to our home once again before starting the job and assured us he would respect our home and advise his workers the same since we had to vacate the home during the repair.
Day one of the repair, Dwaine sent 2 workers to our home, they had no consideration for our home, they drug insulation throughout our home, Dwaine assured me they would put up heavy plastic in the doorway to prevent dust from escaping to the rest of the home, they did not put up anything to prevent the dust from traveling throughout our home. They left my back door unlocked and the windows open without resetting the alarm code and lowered our thermostat as if they were in their own home. I expressed my concern to Dwaine who claimed he would handle it, but failed completely at putting my concerns at rest.
Dwaine sent workers who performed unprofessional work, a painter who left drip marks all over the walls, who painted over cables and failed to paint the front door of the room. Left spackle drips all over my home and belongings, again no respect for my home. A carpenter that left carpet remnants all over my home and never bothered to clean them up. Replaced the doors back on the jams and left dirty finger prints all over the doors never cleaning them. They replaced the siding and did the sloppiest job leaving gobs of glue along the door frame and uneven pieces of siding and failure to thoroughly secure the siding in place, the work was so bad it had to be redone. Our back porch light never worked again after they replaced our siding. Upon replacing the roof they drove a nail through my satellite TV cable and I had to pay 50.00 for the satellite company to come and repair it and Dwaine refused to refund me the money although his workers were at fault.
Dwaine dismissed my concerns and talked over me as if he felt superior to me. He failed to manage the project in a professional manner and ensure the work was done professionally and that my home was being respected. I had to have my home professionally cleaned by an outside company before we could come back to live in it because Dwaine never cleaned up after the job was performed. The entire project took a week longer than initially planned because Dwaine had to make right all the wrongs with the work performed.
The work that was performed was so flawed, but I no longer wanted to deal with Dwaine and I had lost all confidence in his ability to do a good job and chose to accept the job that was done to move pass the situation. My family of 5 were in a hotel for nearly a month and we just wanted to be back home and I think Dwaine knew that and took advantage of our situation and did a mediocre job.
To make matters worse a month after the nightmare of an experience was over I receive a notice of violation in the mail from PWC stating the permit required to complete the job was never obtained. Before Dwaine starting the job I asked him if the job required a permit, he said no and I took his word. He proceeded to obtain a permit after the fact and the first inspector I scheduled to come out gave me a notice of rejection because he could not see what was repaired. A week later Dwaine contacts me to schedule an inspector to come back out I specifically told him to schedule on a Wednesday so I could take off work and be there, but he schedules for a Monday and I was not able to take off. I asked Dwaine for the contact information to the inspector and he refused to give it to me and he refused to change the date with the inspector claiming the inspector would not change the date. Wouldn’t you know it the inspector comes out and passes the job on a day I could not be there.
I have zero confidence in this man and think he is a grimy individual.
