I have tanned at Shoreline tan for almost half a year now so I feel I can make an overall fair review. The location I am currently at is in the middle of nowhere so I do see how shoreline tan uses that to advantage to have higher prices than most salons. I still feel they are very overpriced. Only two of the beds I would say are powerful enough to give you a decent tan. The standup bed isn’t great, there are openings that make me question on how even the tan will come out plus every time I used it, I had 0 difference in my skin. Make sure you have your own eye wear if you do decide to come here, they also overcharge on lotions and other accessories. The staff members are sweet ladies but one of them has a bad tendency to put the timer on to the bed way too soon. The district manager though never returns calls or shows any care towards customers which is another reason why they have a star less. There’s a late fee $ 10 that adds up every month so make sure if you get a new card update it soon they won’t make any exceptions. It seems she’s more concerned on what money she can make instead of the customers experience. Luckily it’s my last month coming here, they tried charging me an early cancel contract fee when I was told being in the military and likely to transfer that I wouldn’t be charged that fee before I signed my contract with them. When I went to cancel they tried charging me the fee anyways because«they decided to not exempt military members anymore from it». They change their terms without any notification so I just advise anyone to beware.
