Heel Quik

I like these guys and they always do a great job! The work they do on my shoes is excellent and very reasonably priced, especially being in the KOP Mall. They are tucked away on the right hand side as you enter the mall through the «Court» entrance. Only $ 6 for a shine!

Some of the worst customer service I have experienced. I have a minor shoe repair that needs some attention and called to inquire with this company regarding their hours to plan on when to come. A younger sounding gentleman picked up the phone and responded by laughing at me and saying «Well I am talking to you on the phone aren’t I?» I said never mind and hung up. If the business can’t even respond to a simple customer question such as their hours without being condescending and demeaning, there is no way I would trust them with my shoes nor business. Go somewhere else. They apparently have enough business to afford to treat customers poorly and couldn’t care less.

As the previous and only review on Unilocal said, this place gets the job done. I don’t mind paying $ 18 – 20 to fix a purse or a pair of heels or boots since I bring items that I think are worth repairing — restoring these pieces is pretty much priceless, and the work here has been excellent!

I have never taken a pair of shoes to have them repaired. But in a recession, Michelle C can’t afford to buy a new pair of Louboutins. So what does she do? She takes it to a place called «Heel Quick». Here’s a quik (tee-​hee) run down:
$ 12– to add a new rubber pad on the stiletto
$ 12 — to smooth the point of the shoe (top and sole) with black polish.
$ 12 — for a new sole. (I didn’t do this because I am partial to what is left of the defining red sole.)
They take cash only and can have your shoe ready in 45 minutes.
Closed Sundays
I was unsure about them touching the point of my shoe. So in my moment of confusion the man offered$ 2 off.
This place gets the job done and is great for a quick fix; however, I thought it was a bit pricey for the work done.
