There were two things that kept this good experience from being a great experience.
1). They delivered average padding when I had ordered a vapor barrier padding. (Thy went back and got it, wasting more than an hour of their time)
2). They didn’t vacuum when they were done, so the first impression is unfinished and more work for guess who? (Since the house was empty and moving furniture (we had none) was included in the standard installation, the installers had a deal. The installers did a good job – they were quiet and hardworking and could do all the rooms at once since, as I said before, the house was not furnished.)

Not cheap, but these guys really were super on the service during installation, including furniture moving and disposal of the old carpets (included in the cost). The old carpets had apparently been screwed into place instead of stapled, so these poor guys had to take forever getting out the old screws. We discovered a broken step when they pulled the carpet off the stairs and they worked around it while my guy ran to the hardware store and repaired it so everything would be fixed before they recarpeted the stairs.
