Great store, the deals are amazing. I’m not usually super crafty but when I am… I come here to grab everything I need. You can’t beat the prices I never leave her spending more than $ 50 tops!

Your basic smaller Michael’s, A bit small, limited selection but glad to have one 10 mins away. I think I get much better and enthusiastic help from the men especially Vince who helps me in Fine arts nearly every week in the store and not the women unlike other reviews. The Asian former manager was awesome I loved him and then he got transferred to Plymouth Meeting. He still greets me when I see him at his new store. The KoP store could really use renovating and a more progressive selection and lower prices compared to Blick and others. You definitely want to use a coupon there!

Okay, I promise I’m not trying to be purposely«girl power!» here, but. the female associates that work at this store are so nice and SO helpful, but the males that I’ve encountered literally couldn’t care less about anything that you need help with and they don’t even try to hide it. Look dudes, I get that you’re 34 and work at Michael’s and all, but maybe your day wouldn’t be so dreadful and you wouldn’t hate your life as much if you just tried to make the best of it while you’re there and didn’t outwardly ooze disgruntlement.

This store was so disorganized that I forgot my keys. Well, I have to take responsibility for forgetting my keys, but seriously my experience at Michaels was substandard. Here’s how the story goes. I went to Michaels while it was snowing. All their merchandise was still outside as was every cart for the customer. I dusted off my cart and trucked along. It was obvious that the store was either hit hard during the holidays or was getting ready for a boat load of new kitschy craft items for the next holiday. However, I do not expect things to be littering aisle making them impossible to navigate nor do I expect a random extension cord to be dangling from the ceiling. I could easily reach it at 5’2 without having to reach over my head… I made the mistake of asking a sales girl where some clay was located. She told me a couple aisles over. When I couldn’t find it, I approached her again and asked her if she could show me since I could not find it. She told me another aisle. I still couldn’t find it. I headed to the register and asked if someone could help me. The sales person(Melissa K) was extremely helpful and walked over to the clay with me and asked if there was anything else I needed. Then I got distracted by Michael’s amazing bead selection. I am a sucker for shiny stuff!!! This was the highlight of the trip. When I got to the register, the useless sales associate rung me but forgot several of my items. I left the store, realized I was missing items and returned to the store. The sales associate was busy chatting it up with another associate and told me her register was now conveniently closed. She handed me my forgotten items, and I headed back over to Melissa K. All this back and forth got me a little perturbed and I forgot my keys. Luckily, Melissa K had put them aside and when I came back for them she recognized me immediately. I don’t think I’ll be heading back to his Michaels anytime soon. Next time, I will head to JoAnn’s instead…
