My friends and I all got the truffle Mac and cheese it was very good except some asked for no bacon and yet they still had bacon on it. I wouldn’t recommend the nachos or the sweet fries neither were that great… good place for drinks and to watch sports on tv.

The steamers were a great starter. The lobster Mac n cheese has no visible lobster so a disappointment. pleasant atmosphere

Came Saturday night for a party. The bar was dead but very nice. We ordered salmon dinner and it was delicious. The fish was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We also ordered a chicken wrap. That too was cooked very well and overall we were happy with the meal. The prices were surprisingly fair considering we were at a casino resort. Solid 4 stars

Our server took quite a while to acknowledge our presence. Once he finally did he took our drink order. 12 minutes later he came back with 2 of the 3 drinks we ordered, never brought the 3rd one. We started out with the Bacon wrapped BBQ meatballs as an appetizer. As I bit in to it I was immediately displeased as they were cold, although I must say they were pretty flavorful. They would have been amazing if they came out hot. For dinner I got the shepherds pie and the wife got a turkey burger. The shepherds pie was hot and tasted mediocre, it was described as having peas and carrots in it, however there were no peas or carrots to be found… Just ground beef and mashed potatoes. The turkey burger came out cold with the bun sopping in honey. The honey was on the side for the sweet potato fries but somehow spilled all over the plate upon arrival. Also it stated there were onions on the burger which there were not. I was not impressed and would not eat there again.

Came on a Sunday night and the place was dead. The server was friendly and offered a few apps. The French onion soup was really one of the best I have had anywhere. I highly recommend it. The wings were overlooked and the sauce was nothing special. I’d pass on them. I ordered the triple decker club and my buddy ordered the burger. The club was excellent. Plenty of meat and great flavor. The burger came out way overlooked and the wrong side. It was sent back and came out Cooked correctly. Overall a decent burger. As others have mentioned the food was pricey but to be expected at a casino restaurant. Average place with a few a over average dishes. Worth a shot if in the casino.

The place was dead when I was there(Sunday evening) so I found that kind of surprising. Took a seat at the bar and had a Yuengling and that was fine. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it came with a side of fries. It was pretty good and cooked correctly. It is a bit pricy for what you get(like $ 15 for a cheeseburger?) but it is good. A lot of TVs are there so it is a nice place to watch a game.

We went early on a crowded Sat. The food was great but the service was absolutely horrible. Only was able to get 1 drink which took 20 minutes after we placed the order and I had to flag down the waitress to get it. Almost walked out. Food came out, she never checked on us for refills or to see how everything was. We asked for the check immediately. Made us very stressed out and ticked off.

First the service was great, attentive and super friendly but not overbearing. Had us in and out for the 8 pm show. Food — the shaved prime rib sandwich was really good. never a fan of prime rib because of the fat but i was assured by my waitress that this sandwich was fat free. it was and toasted perfectly with the right amount of horseradish and cheese. Fish tacos(i had the grilled), okay, but not a real fish taco, no heat and made with lettuce instead of cabbage. Might want to explore other versions of fish taco and go with that. bland for my taste. Anyone ordering this item will have other expectations than what i got. overall great experience, would like to try other items on the menu. great beer selection.

The food was underwhelming as was the wait staff. There are plenty of other options in the area. I would check them out instead.

Was between session of a conference and needed something to eat. Wasn’t very full had basic pub fare. I waited over 45 minutes for a panini while a table of 4 who were seated 15 minutes after received drinks and food before me. My panini was cold and was supposed to be on a ciabatta roll what I got was a pressed hoagie roll which was so tough it wasn’t worth eating. Overall very disappointed.

Valley Tavern was my bastion of beer and food while on a recent business trip at the attached hotel. If you are looking for the Tavern you actually need to park at and enter the Radisson here. It is, however, worth the effort. The general Pub type décor was fine… nothing seemed dirty or out of place. I sat at the bar twice, and in the«dining area» once. I gotta say the service at the bar was a bit better. I was however pleasantly surprised at the tap and bottle selection. Coming from San Diego, I am normally a little spoiled when it comes to craft and rare beers on tap and available in bottles. Valley Tavern gave me something new and interesting each night… and they even had a few Southern California craft beers on the list which was great! The food was also a great compliment in the selection and quality. I had everything from the Pub Burger, to the Fish NChips to a steak, and all met or exceeded my expectations. The standout was the Pub burger… where even after sitting in the TOGo container while I had a few more beers than I intended… it was tasty and juicy when I got back to my room.

This is the most affordable sit down restaurant in the radisson/casino. The door had a very friendly woman who was seating people. 3 options –the bar which is strictly for alcohol and beer and then there were tall stool seating in between for menu and booze and then open booth seating were you scooted around into a spot and ate on tables facing in toward the restaurant. The booths are like this because there are 20 TVs that are playing around the restaurant. The TV were playing basketball and the. Olympics. We were at the radisson for the mid winter Irish and Scottish festival so we didn’t get to the restaurant until 8:30 ish. The menu was honestly not that exciting they had all there desserts for approx. $ 8 which was the most affordable thing I looked forward too.(I am pregnant) Our drinks arrived very quickly and we chose two appetizers the Buffalo chicken spring rolls and a cheese quesadila. we added guacamole for $ 2. For $ 4 we could have added chicken to our four cuts of tortillas. Which would have made it a $ 16 app. The appetizers took about 15 minutes. Food wise the prices were ridiculous but still cheaper then our other dining options. They had two short pages of food options. You either chose a wrap/sandwich salad or you get a very pricey piece of steak. I git the santefe chicken wrap my sister ordered the all veggie and cheese wrap and my boyfriend who hated the options ordered a prime rib sandwich. I upgraded to sweet fries and they were amazing and thick. The dip was a maple glaze. The only issue we had was that my sisters wrap was so soggy it tore before she could pick it up. We noticed its was missing asparagus which was the main reason my sister went with it. They remade the wrap for her completely and she said the veggies were as fresh as they could be. All in all it was a decent meal that cost us approx $ 96.00 for 3.

As much as I loved the food, the service can make or break your restaurant. I have no qualms about the food, I had the western burger, and it was cooked exactly how I wanted and very flavorful with plenty of fries. My fiancé had the buffalo chicken sandwich, and it was very good. The beers are all reasonably priced and they even have $ 2.50 beer specials during Phillies games. The horrible service is where stars get taken away. We got in there and it took a while for someone to even notice us standing in the doorway, and when someone finally did, they looked and walked away, leaving us to wait longer not knowing if anyone was coming over. When we get seated, it took awhile for someone to come and get our drink orders. After we put in our food orders, it took over a half an hour for the food, and someone behind us complained to his waitress that he had been waiting for almost 45 minutes for a bowl of french onion soup. The fact of the matter was that it wasn’t even busy, very few people at the bar and maybe 1⁄3 of the house full. No reason for those kinds of waits. The only other thing was that one of their managers, a rather busty female, was walking around in short shorts and a tank top one sneeze away from letting it all hang out. Even for a tavern like that, it was really inappropriate. I thought some of the people(who were there for the BAPTISTCHURCHCONVENTION) were going to have heart attacks! Establishments need to be able to cater to more than one demographic, not just horny men who lost all of their money at the casino downstairs.

Great beers and good bar food. Perhaps some of the earlier reviews were from new hires? We always had great service. The only negative was the pricing of beers which is why I gave it 4 stars.

I attended a beer pairing dinner here, but I will say the service was top notch. The food, exquisite. I like the trendy vibe they’re giving off here. I’m not sure how the regular menu items fair, but everything I had at the pairing was top notch. I’d give this place another shot for sure!

I went here while I was staying at the attached hotel. The place looks like your typical Irish pub and has at least 8 large televisions at the very large bar. The setup looked really promising to me, and I thought I would be able to get a decent bite to eat. Sadly, I was wrong. It was late and I had to be up early so I did not order alcohol, but they had a mediocre beer selection with the usuals plus a couple of local pints. They had an OK liquor selection as well. The menu was slightly nicer than your average bar food. I order Boddington mussels and fish and chips. The mussels had an average flavor, but the temperature of the mussels and the broth, and the mushy texture made me suspect that these had been either reheated or sat around in a warming pan until they served them. The toast that came with the mussels tasted smoked like it had been toasted in an oven with something burning on the bottom. The fish and chips came served in a cone with faux newspaper lining. The fries were cold and tasted like they had been fried a while ago. The fish was hot, beer battered, and crispy, but sadly they lacked any flavor whatsoever. I don’t think that there was any salt, either in the batter or on the fish. The tarter sauce was the only thing that allowed me to eat half of it. Lastly, the service here was awful. They were quiet since it was late at night on a Monday and there were at least 2 bartenders(I was sitting at the bar), but the ESPYs were on, and it seemed like the only thing they wanted to do was watch that. I ordered a water and it came in a miniature glass. I only got one refill, and it was when I flagged down a bartender and specifically asked for a refill. Every other time they passed me they looked down at my glass but never asked if I wanted a refill. When I asked for a bowl to put my discarded mussel shells in, they acted like I had made a major request. The only redeeming quality of this visit was the fact that I was in town on business, which meant I didn’t have to pay for it.

5 dollar Yuengling’s!!! This place is trippin. I only came here to get my gaming card to go in the casino. Anyplace that sells Thee local Macro at such exorbitant prices gets no love from me. Everything in this place was overpriced, like the rest of the eateries in this resort. By the way if you come in from the casino I swear its like a 5 minute walk down the longest winding hallway I have ever been in. Bartenders are sweethearts though and one of the ladies gave me really good advice, she said«Play with your head, not above it.» I dig it, thanks for the advice miss.

This is one of the newly established restaurants connected to the Valley Forge Casino Resort, this specifically located right off the lobby of the Radisson Hotel. The resort’s take on gastropub, you can get different types of draft beers including Guinness here along with burgers, fries, pot pies, etc. Very dark woods, booths and a large bar fill the room. Since the prices of the food here is on par with the food prices for the other eateries right off the casino floor, this is a nicer atmosphere to get food unless you want to hear the hum and noise of the casino the whole time.(Which isn’t a bad thing, it just depends on what you want). From 4:30 to 7 they have a happy hour that includes $ 3 drafts, $ 4 house wines, well drinks and on(at least Wednesdays) whiskey you call its. I really wanted to experience the burger, so I went with the Tavern Burger which came with both blue and cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion and sides of ketchup, mayo and mustard. At my server’s recommendation, I also got barbecue sauce. Sandwiches also come with a side of your selection of fries, sweet potato fries or onion rings. I was really please with my food. Filling and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place as an alternative to some of the eateries immediately connected to the mall. Plus when you spend over $ 10 you can get the casino access card!!! The also offer live music; when I first sat down, there was a piano player. I also want to give a shoutout to my server Jaime, who as my friend said while we were eating«she seems genuinely happy to be here and likes her job, which is hard to find in the food industry.»
