Super 8 Kingdom City

I would like to update my review, I stand by my claim of the smell, but after speasking with the staff the next morning I came to find out was what I may have smeeled during check in was the lingering odor from maintenence fumagation, which it could have been as the odor was gone the next morning. I do have to say that the motel was clean and comfortable, the staff refundee a portion of my fee back, which was unexpected and nice of them, truthfuly I really wouild stray there again

Clean rooms and friendly staff, we were up too early for the breakfast so i can not speak on that part. The rooms were a little dated but adequate none the less.

The bathroom was clean and the bed was clean and comfortable. For a quick stopping point between destinations on a road trip, the room served it’s purpose. And, the price was right.
I only gave two stars because the carpeting was not clean and stained. Also, the lobby and the hallways had a stale odor. New carpeting and getting rid of the odor would greatly improve the experience.

Hotel was nice for the price. Found an offer online to make it a little cheaper and they accepted it. Seems like the rooms have been newly renovated because the walls and ceilings had new paint. Carpet looked nice, the king size bed was very comfy. Flat screen tv, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer in the bathroom, the water in the shower got warm fast and stayed warm, I think there was a locking safe in the room but I never investigated it. Had a lazy boy recliner as well with a desk and chair. Rooms were very clean, had parking out back for semis and cars in front.
Our room was on the third floor next to the stairs and never had any problems with noise in any direction.
Offered free breakfast. Waffles, cereal, yogurt, juice, milk and had toasters for toast along with gravy. They even offered 20% off at Denny’s which was about half a mile down the road, easily in safe walking distance. Gas stations really close by and right off the highway. Only hard part was getting to it, when you turn off the highway make sure you turn at the light toward the gas station or you will be headed down a smaller highway and will have to make a u turn in the center of the road.
All in all I would defiantly come back here.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Free breakfast and wifi. My biggest and only complaint, which is why I took a few stars off, is the noise. You can hear everything. Rather than sleeping, I heard doors slamming all night and morning and could hear all conversations through the hallway. If your looking for a quick place to rest for an awesome price, definitely the place. But looking for a sound, solid night of sleep, you may wanna check out reviews of the surrounding hotels in the area first.

This Super 8 is a step above the rest. I was treated to VIP service (literally I was the VIP of the day, which meant free chips, water, and everyone was very nice to me, name written on a board and everything). The room is a typical hotel room. It is a bit older, but well enough maintained. It was warm when I came in and there was plenty of room and parking. The front desk staff was courteous. The Unilocal deals offered when you check in are pending… I guess my fee was already locked so I couldn’t use the check-​in offer, perhaps I’ll have better luck with the voucher.
