The food was served hot and tasty. Had the chicken fried steak and it was excellent! Service was prompt and excellent! Homemade pies by the 85 year old Grandmother, who makes them 6 days a week. We had the Snicker pie – yummy!

Jeri’s is one of those small town eateries where the food is good. You can afford it, it’s not too fancy and everything tastes like it should. If you want fussy go someplace else. If you want real food and good pie — eat here.

Great food. South central Kansas, along U.S. Route 400, in Kingman, Kansas, resides Jeri’s Kitchen. A family-style restaurant serving the area for over 25 years, Jeri’s offers a plethora of foodie stuffs like fried chicken, roast beef, pulled pork, Mexican food, salads, sandwiches, delicious breakfasts, Daylight Donuts and soft-serve ice cream dips! Jeri’s Re-Opened in Aug. 2011 after a fire destroyed the building in Dec. of 2010. They offer catering and carry out. Make a point to visit. You’ll be glad you did.

We came from Seattle to visit relatives and had breakfast there every morning. It was so good to find a place that wasn’t pretentious, like the diners in Seattle. Sure, the service was a bit slow but it was a great place to drink coffee, hang out, and meet the local people. Had to even order a shirt. Thanks to the wait staff and cooks who made our mornings memorable!

This review is for May 29. I wanted to like this place – a local restaurant in an old-fashioned small town downtown. However, we waited an awfully long time to get our food, and then it wasn’t very good. The meat on my BBQ beef sandwich had chunks of fat on it. It came with chips and nothing else. We couldn’t get our waitress’s attention to order dessert, so we had to order pie from someone else. It was just OK. My apple pie was short on apples and«long» on crumb topping.
