It is a wonderful place in Kingman, the owner Don is an extremely nice person and sat and talked with us while we tasted the wine … no pressure to buy just some nice conversation. The wines are very good and we left with a few bottles. We would definitely go back again. The winery is very spacious and does have some art work for sale from local artists, Well worth the scenic trip.

This is a winery in Kingman, AZ. Let me repeat. Holy crap, this is a winery in Kingman, AZ. This is an absolute gem in the middle of the desert. It is a bit of a drive for people living in the middle of Kingman, but definitely worth it if you want to take a break from everyday life for a while. Drive carefully, since the last trek of the drive is on unpaved roads. WARNING: The online directions you get from any website may not be correct. As advised on their facebook page, make sure to go to their website for a map and directions. I’ve only been here once for their Valentine’s Day Dinner event on a Friday evening. We purchased a wine tasting and then bought a bottle. If you end up buying a bottle, you get the wine tasting free(I think so, but you do get some sort of a discount). It was a fun event. The food was catered by Siren’s, which was good, but a tad bit overpriced. We hung out inside. It was a spacious place, but might have been a little too vast. It had a warehouse type of feel, instead of an open barn. However, their outdoor area was magical. They had an outdoor fireplace with benches around it and lights that were strewn around the patio area. It created a warm and festive feel. Their hours seem to be catered towards the older folk or people who have their daytime free. However, they occasionally have special events in the evening(ex. they had a cancer fundraiser one Friday evening featuring a comedian). I know they also started to have live music weekly at 4pm on Sundays. I haven’t been back since my first visit, but hope to re-visit sometime in the future. I’m not a huge fan of their current wine selections, but would come back for their special events.

There is a bit of a drive to get to this winery but the views and wine are well worth it. If you are in the Kingman area and traveling Route 66 do yourself a favor and stop here. Currently their hours are limited to Friday, Saturday and Sunday but if you give them a call they will be happy to give a private tour and tasting.
