So here’s the weird thing about Celtic Crossing: It really is two separate bars. The first exists from noon to 8PM. That gets the 4 stars from me. Day bartenders Kate and Tony are nothing short of awesome. Super friendly with the customers and are less bartenders as they are old friends. They make everyone feel welcome. It’s a barroom, no food, no pretentiousness, just good beer, booze, conversation and good times. There is a «Cheers» quality about the place. A ton of regulars who have their usual barstools, and if you are sitting in a regular’s spot, they will let you know! After 8, it turns into something else. Think Kings Park High School Reunion, graduating class of six months ago. It’s young, loud, and a tad bit crazy. It chases the day crew out the door. If that’s your thing, and you’re local, come on down. Personally, it’s not my thing so you won’t see me there later than 7PM. Overall, a winner.

I don’t advise coming here unless you know the owners. A lot of drunken regulars cause brawls every week. Very low class, drug using ignorant people come here. Also a lot of underage kids. Not a friendly place in general.

People of Kings Park love this bar. There are many frequent customers who go to this bar every weekend. During holidays, it can become a little packed, especially in the winter time. They have an outside area, so in the warmer months, the crowd tends to spread out. It is a friendly atmosphere and a good place to chill and catch up with friends. It is a small bar but from time to time, they have great music playing and DJs. Each time I’ve been there, I’ve had a blast. The DJs that usually play there play some popping music. Spanish music, amiright?

I live in Kings Park. I usually like to buy a 6 pack and sit at home and drink. 2 Reasons: I save money and I avoid a DWI. But if I feel like going to a bar, this place is walking distance from me. So I walk there. The Miller Light at $ 2.50 a glass you cannot beat. There are times when they have free pizza or foot long heroes. Another thing that cannot be beat. The staff and bartenders are friendly.
