Encore Dance Academy

My daughters went to Encore for 3 years. During this time they told us on many occasions that their instructors would belittle and yell at the whole group (not specifically my daughters). In addition they would eat dinner during class and constantly check phones. I was always surprised to hear that when the studio had holiday, birthday or one of the other events not including dance instruction (what we paid for) that unhealthy junk food was in abundance.
I approached Kelly (owner) several times and was dismissed with a noticeably fake smile with obviously no intent to address. In addition I know I was not the only parent that felt that way as many of us talk while sitting in lobby listening to staff talk about nonsense. Would only recommend to NOT go to encore.

We have been guests at two parties here. It is so fun! They read stories, give tattoos, have a bubble machine, play instruments, dance and had trampoline time. The kids were so engaged and happy. Both times the staff running the parties were different, but both so great with the kids, even encouraging kids to participate. When it was time to eat and have cake the staff was exceptionally attentive and cheerful. A great big party space too. Highly recommend for a kids party.

I purchased a Groupon for my daughter’s 3^rd birthday party. She does not attend dance classes there, however we felt very comfortable, and she had a great time. The staff was very nice during the entire process, the package included customized invitations, upgraded goodie bags, pizza (fresh and hot), cake, themed paper goods and decorations and 2 characters from the movie Frozen, and they really delivered them all! Amazing! I was impressed.
